Great location, great staff & excellent breakfast buffet and restaurant staff. Easy to get to the Skydome. About 25 min walk to the Eaton Centre. Pool is great as well. Quiet sleep with is always welcome.
Nothing
Loud never slept…people shouting and party all night
We stayed in Toronto for the weekend for the Ed Sheeran concert. The Hyatt was conveniently located. It was a short walk to the subway so we could go to the Eaton Centre, and then just a short walk to the concert venue on the 2nd night. Lots of shopping and restaurant options nearby. The starbucks in the lobby was super convenient so we could have a slow morning, sipping coffees and deciding what we wanted to do before the show. The room was a pretty typical hotel room - two beds, tv, desk. It was clean and well-maintained. We didn't eat onsite, but there are options available. The beds were comfy, and it's nice to have 2 queens to fit adults and kids (instead of only doubles). Would definitely stay here again.
It’s a beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. I loved that it had a Starbucks attached to it for convenience and the goldfish located in lobby was something you don’t see often, which added to the already luxury feel of the place.
I liked mostly everything. The only issue I had was the $300 hold on my card. I feel like $100/day for accidentals is too much.
Nice place. I love the location, less than 6mins walk to C! tower, Aquarium amongst other attraction centre
great staff and location is very central to all Toronto has to offer. Well done to the staff who treated me wonderfully. this includes the bar gay late a night.
Perfekte Lage - gute Ausstattung - sehr gutes Personal
Pool war etwas schmutzig
It was a great stay, lovely clean hotel, centrally located and very friendly staff. Underground parking had in and out privileges until 4pm on checkout day which was great. The kids loved feeding the fish.
We went there mainly for their outdoor heated pool, which we told staff from arrival. Staff convinced us we would love the pool. When we got to the pool around 5pm . They said they closed the pool because it was windy outside. Mind you it wasn’t that windy and still warm outside and it’s a pool on a high rise and not an ocean. That was the only reason we even booked there. So it was little disappointing, which we explained to them and they did nothing to make the situation better.
Corner room was spacious, clean and comfortable - all hotel staff members were helpful and pleasant, from front desk reception at check-in to housekeeping. Despite a mid-city location, our stay was quiet and enjoyable.
The hotel was in a great position, being right in the entertainment area. It was easy to walk to most places.
The staff that we encountered were all friendly and helpful. We ate at the hotel twice, on arrival we used room service and once at King Street Social where we had breakfast. Room service was good. The food all good and service very quick. Breakfast was exceptionally good. We had planned on doing À la Carte but went with the buffet as the options were too good to be missed. The only minor gripe would be the omelette station. The omelette was perfect but I waited a long time as you have to wait for it to be collected by staff and by the time I received it my family had finished their food and the omelette was tepid. We had a great waiter but he was very busy and so I do not blame him at all.
Clean quiet hotel, nice rooftop pool, friendly attentive staff, walking distance to so many great restaurants and attractions.
We stayed one night in August 2026 while attending a concert at Rogers Centre. We picked this hotel because we are familiar with Hyatt and feel like we know what to expect from the brand, and also because the hotel was located conveniently to the venue.
The location was good. The property itself was fine if unexceptional. Service was polite but terrible. We would not recommend this hotel as a result, and when we return we will look to stay with a competitor.
We booked a king room for three travelers (a couple plus a teenage child), which Hyatt's booking platform permitted. We specifically booked for three and requested a rollaway on the reservation at the time of booking.
When we checked in within thirty minutes of check-in opening up, we were told they could not accommodate us with a rollaway, despite knowing well in advance that that was necessary for our party to have reasonable sleeping arrangements. Staff instead offered to bring extra bedding to our room "promptly" so that our teenager could use it to sleep on the floor. Needing to get ready for the concert and feeling like we had no other choice, we went ahead and checked in. When we left our room about forty-five minutes later, no one had arrived with the promised bedding, but we assumed that someone would deliver that in our absence while we were at the concert.
When we got back to the hotel six hours later, we found no additional bedding. We immediately called the front desk to request it, only to be told that housekeeping wasn't available, they were very busy, and they would "try" to make something work. We waited again to no avail. We ended up stripping the one bed we did have and using its blankets and comforter to make something work for the night. When we called the front desk again to tell them not to bother, we were told that a manager was "almost there." No one ever arrived.
Everyone we dealt with was polite, but politeness did not translate into even the most basic assistance. We understand that a requested rollaway may not always be available. What we do not understand is accepting a reservation for three guests, promising alternative bedding at check-in, failing to deliver it during the six hours we were away, and then failing again after two calls that night. Our teenager was left to sleep on the floor using bedding stripped from the room’s only bed.
We do not expect perfection. We do expect a hotel, particularly one carrying the Hyatt name, to provide reasonable sleeping arrangements for the number of guests on the reservation or, at the absolute minimum, to follow through when it promises bedding.
The location was convenient and the staff were courteous, but this failure overshadowed the entire stay. We would not recommend the Hyatt Regency Toronto and will stay elsewhere when we return.
