Great location
I loved this hotel. The reception, the bar/restaurant. Has excellent facilities such as decent size pool, steam, sauna.
Nothing.
The reception staff were brilliant, very helpful & attentive. The conference space & bedrooms were lovely & cold with air con on very hot days.
The shared spaces were uncomfortably warm. I appreciate there was a heat wave but they didn’t seem to have air con in the restaurant or central areas.
The bar staff were dreadful. After 25 minutes I still didn’t have my drink, I repeatedly asked if it was on its way, I said if she wasn’t sure how to make the cocktail it was fine to get something else but she insisted she knew. After 30 minutes I gave up & requested a refund but the bar staff couldn’t process it so we had to go back to reception instead which marred the 45 minutes we had for a drink. The reception staff were again, very helpful.
This is a well located hotel in Leeds. The rooms are very nice and the staff are all friendly. It does have a swimming pool with sauna and steam room which was a bonus and we enjoyed relaxing in here for a few hours.
You do have to pay extra for the parking and the car park is first-come-first-served with tight spaces. The changing area in the health spa could do with an update as many of the locker doors weren't working and the changing rooms felt a bit grotty.

Club lounge I made a coffee from machine and the milk had gone off, earlier staff had not changed it. Was quickly rectified by young gentleman serving us once I informed him
We loved the location and how welcoming everybody was. It felt very special.
