Good location. Well priced. Always enjoy sitting by the fire pit.
Our room this time was along the end by the parking lot. We were right across from the ice machine - very loud. The outside light on the front of building shone in our room all night making it difficult to fall asleep.
Beautiful setting near the mountain. Wonderful vegetation--citrus were blooming! A very good central location for walking downtown.
The location was in the middle of downtown Palm Springs and we could walk everywhere we were interested. The resort provided an airport shuttle so we did not need to rent a car. I appreciated it was a no smoking resort and the pool area was quiet and laid back.
We are swimmers and the pool was dirty. We had to wait two hours for our room to check in. We were in our room by 5pm. The rooms are dated and we could hear the loud people next to us day and night. They seem to cater to large charter bus groups.
Nice property with mature trees. Walking around the property you can smell the flowers from the citrus trees. The room was nicely situated for privacy. It was gated all around and it felt safe.
The microwave door was stuck and I couldn't get my food out. Also the room door was very difficult to open and I had to really put some muscle into it. The grass in front of the room seemed to be a popular spot for dogs and I watched a lot of pooping going on there during the weekend. I don't know if they have an area specifically for dogs on the property to do their business, but it would be a good idea if they don't already.
A very nice facility with a refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and pretty. I didn't like paying a separate facility fee on top of the room rate and taxes. I never used the pool or any other amenities that may have been there. I only used it to sleep.
Between the noisy AC unit to servicing of the room. Run away, if you want to pay for an overprice room that you cant sleep then this is the place for you
The staff here is SUPER friendly. They were very helpful, information and all around nice. They make you feel welcome and have a smile right from the start. The rooms are comfortable, roomy and very clean. The hotel is located in downtown Palm Springs, so it's within walking distance of many places. The value for what you get is very reasonable also. I recommend staying here if you find yourself in downtown Palm Springs.
If I had to be picky, I would say the bathroom is a little outdated. The counter tops and shower could use a visual upgrade and the exhaust fan in the bathroom seemed to be non-existent. Really not an issue for me or my guests, more of just general feedback.
I stayed with my 40 year old sister and 70 year old family friend. While my sister and I would have likely stayed in a more "hip" place, the 70 year old picked Palm Mountain and I am SO GLAD she did! We got a room by a shared fire pit and couldn't be happier. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. It felt relaxing and private. The staff was so helpful and kind and the location is so close to everything. I would stay here again. It's nothing fancy, but everything is solid and was a lovely experience.
Great location, walk to the main strip to eat drink shop. Pet friendly. Staff is helpful in regards to your special requests.
Beautiful property, nice rooms, the pool and outdoor patio with fireplaces were wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a nice little convenience store off of the lobby if you needed snacks, drinks or other small items. The location was perfect- close to lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping.
The room had a couple of things that needed attention, but nothing major (loose towel hook, loose electrical outlet).
Location and accommodations
It took us a while to figure out how to work all the light fixtures and the fan.
I also found the smell of the gardenia if that’s what they were very potent outside by the pool
great location, comfortable room
wish i had access to a gym
The resort is clean, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean with plenty of towels and toiletries. The pool is lovely. The staff were professional and responsive, if not particularly caring.
Because it's a resort, the hallways are outdoors, which means that it is common to be woken up or kept awake by people talking loudly outside your door.
Housekeeping seemed pretty nonexistent.
Check in is at 4 pm which is a long time to wait if you arrive in at 1 pm after a long flight.
Palm Mountain Resort and Spa was absolutely beautiful! The landscaping, the pool area, the fire pit, the lobby, our room...everything was spot on! It was my first time back to my hometown in many, many years and Palm Mountain made it memorable in the best of ways! Don't miss out! Book your room today!
Fantastic location within walking distance to restaurants. Loved the plaza theatre for a show. We only took an Uber a few times.
The Palm Mountain Resort and spa was a great choice. The location was close to downtown,
the massages we got at the hotel were great, the shuttle to from the airport was so convenient .
The pool was lovely. Thank you to all the staff!!
It was nice and clean and quiet
