Terrible experience. Nothing even close the Radisson level expectation. Here is a sampling. The rate for one room did not match the reservation rate. The wi-fi was almost non-existent. The TV in the room never connected. The walls have almost no sound insulation. The bar was closed. The Choice Hotel website took American Express, the hotel did not. The lobby is very small. the complimentary breakfast was not good. Only one elevator was working. The staff had little to no concern about issues and almost no ability to fix problems. Never will we stay here again.
Complicated TV. No live TV. Shower head hose spraying water.
The place was good
Pool was closed for the season. Rude staff lots of weird folks. Weed and cigarettes smells on each floor. Very nasty unfriendly place. This place needs to be shut down. I would never stay there.
Shower is a 6 out of 10. Bang for your buck .
Nice
Rooms were not clean, elevator smells like trash
The 1st room smelled disgusting and fresh smoke. 2nd room was disgusting and moldy bathroom. Arrived 1 am after getting 2nd room and settled it was after 2am. Stayed until 7am. Had to check out due to the desperation for a shower before the graduation we flew in for. They refused to refund. Finally agreed to refund
Jacuzzi didn't work thats the whole reason i got the room for horrible never going back
The "Breakfast Room" was served in a room that was not up to fire code for the number of people.
Not worth the price they’re charging. Even if it is cheap.
The whirlpool was good but jets could be much stronger. The black office chair was very old worn and faded. I told the young man at the front desk, bathroom lock was loose but no one came to repair.
Fast check-in and friendly staff. The room was clean but a lil run down. When you take a shower the steam makes the smoke alarm go off but thats the worst of the stay.
I have never been more disappointed to stay in a hotel in my life. Start to finish was an aweful experience. To start, they mist a professional photographer being doing there work for rooms, because the difference was drastic. Booked a room with a jet tub, which was later found to be broken. In hindsight, the staff knew it was broken. As we were checking they were trying to find our room, and i heard the receptionist mutter under her breath "well what room do i give them?" to her coworker. Then proceeded to mutter some to one another things i couldn't understand as the smirked at the screen. As you can probably interpret, the customer service was awful. Get to the room, and it is straight up the
The worst hotel stay I ever had couldn’t look at TV and they knew this before they gave me this room ,didn’t even have face towels
The hotel smells bad. It was hard checking in and they were under staffed.
The nastiest room conditions I’ve had. Lock was broken off of the door, the walls were smeared and scuffed. Tiles were missing in the bathroom and multiple exposed wires from the walls. Also the lamps were busted and dirty.
While the staff was courteous, it was the longest check-in process ever. They must be utilizing some archaic system because I had to fill in several forms worth of information (though I booked ahead online). Had to wait 10 minutes for my turn, and then my turn itself took another 10 minutes.
Ordered on price line, jacuzzi pictured in room. Upon arrival received room without a jacuzzi, gym has 5 pieces of equipment. I never did see a pool. It took 5 hours to receive towels and none of the ice machines are working. I had to go to the bar for ice. Overall staff at desk was very pleasant. All remaining staff did not speak English at all. Hotel was quiet, but needs some updating.
I booked the hotel because of the outside pool. When I got there I was told the pool was closed for maintenance. However it seemed like it wasn't used for a long time....In addition, the door lock kept breaking. I had issues opening the door all 3 days. Had to keep going up and down the elevator to talk to the staff.
I also needed towels refreshed. I asked the cleaning lady and the front desk, but didn't get them. Had to ask a 3rd time in order to get them.
Fitness equipment was broken and looked like the room was still in state of not completed renovation.
So this is unique for me to blast a company on social media but after the worst hotel stay I've had in 20 years, we were told we would not get charged. But then we did. Two weeks of calling the hotel directly and constantly told there is no manager available and leaving my number 4 times to never get a call back. Then even calling the corporate number just to tell me all they can do is file a report for the general manager to contact me. But then the so called site manager says now that I did that, he can't help me. It's clearly a death loop design. So you win, you got my money. And this will be the cheapest advertising dollars you spend this year. So for anyone looking or a hotel in Schaumburg IL, for something like mideveil times be sure to pass the raddison hotel. The website makes it look great but they missed a few things. Start with having to kick open you door because it's messed up. Don't wear flip flops because everything sticks to the floor, hard tile and carpet. But that's OK because you can see spills on the carpet surrounded by cigarette burns as you bend over to check you leg that you just caught on some angle iron sticking out from beneath the mattress from what looks like a bed frame missing pieces. Hopefully you don't mind the wet pillows and comforter when you do decide to get off the sticky floor, but don't think about relaxing to watch TV because someone already threw something at it and broke it. And for your convenience don't worry about that phone on the desk to call the front desk because it doesn't work either.
But then they tell you they are full and can't get you another room but they can make it no charge. So in the morning you head to a breakfast that was set out but not restocked and you watch as families leave because there is no more food or silverware or drinks we'll before closing time. Your son asks about the pool which is the while reason you spent the extra money but I had a closed sign and is a green as the hulk, do clearly down awhile. Worst hotel experience in 20 years and people need to know not to put their family in this crap hole or waste the money. Clearly both companies don't care about the service they provide.
