Reasonably priced stay but needs updates
Pros:

Location was great, beds were comfy, breakfast was made to order and good. The beach was great!

Cons:

It’s in need of updates and I believe they are trying. When we arrived it was raining. There were many areas in the lobby with towels and buckets due to leaks. Our elevator was leaking water from the lights in the ceiling of it. We were disappointed, after following social media, that the activities and amenities they boast about weren’t fully open. The pool bar was not open, there were no activities for kids, no beach chairs or sea side grill until Tuesday afternoon. The snack/pizza place by the one pool was not open at all. They also don’t offer pool towels so bring your own or pick some up at Walmart for a few $. We needed extra towels and washcloths as we were only given 2 (for a party of 4) and I had to ask 3 times to get them before just eventually approaching housekeeping myself to get them.

Cons:

They overcharged me. They COULD NOT explain the reason for the overcharge. It’s been more than 48 hrs and no respone. The manager would not face me while addressing the matter with the front desk staff even though she was 2 feer away. The hotel eas dirty. The rain was all over the place (inside). Room cleang staff had to be asked in the acternoon to please do the rooms. At checkout they could not print my balance (which I needed to start a claim). The checkout staff simply said this was a “recurring situation”.

I probably wouldn't stay here again.
Pros:

the staff was very friendly. being able to request a beachside view. the bed was comfortable. If there was a problem, the staff was readily available :)

Cons:

would have preferred the pool bar not to have kids in the pool. I didn't utilized none of the pools. beach was nice but the sand area at the end of the walk way was difficult to pull a wagon through it without straining yourself. room was nice, had a beach view. overall it was nice, wish breakfast was free and not a cost for the amount of nightly stay.

All in all it was pleasant
Pros:

Breakfast was good with good service. Offered excellent entertainment with live music on one of nights there. Loved the bar by the beach had awesome bar tender. All in all had a great stay!

Cons:

I did not like the fire alarms going off periodically on the nights that we were there while sleeping and there’s no fire. It was due to spring breakers acting stupid. Didn’t like that the front desk avoids picking up the phone for room assistance.

The hotel says heated pool we get there and the pool was not heated. Supposed to be family friendly but kicked all the kids out after 630 pm so they could have a party.

Extremely Disappointed
Pros:

Upon arrival right after check in ,we headed to the room , soon after we entered the room . we realized the, the carpet in my room was heavily saturated with water. Despite reporting this to Staff the issue was [never addressed/not resolved effectively]. Staying in a room with wet flooring was not only uncomfortable but also raised concerns regarding hygiene and potential mold. As someone with [Allergies/Asthma], the damp environment and mildew smell were a direct health concern. That same day at night, we expeineced a 5 hour blackout , no pawer through out the island. This made the muggy wet carpet even unbearable . On top of that we were almost broke into twice , someone tried tried to break in our room, not once , but twice. My children were so scared and didn't get any sleep at all.

We made the decision to check out the next day . I went to ask to speak to the manager and was told the manager was busy . I voiced my concerns to the check out desk clerk. i told her we were checking due to all these reasons. She said you can check out and i said yes, but after i speak to the manager and she continued to said the manager was busy and that t and she insisted the manager would call me, that she was aware of my concerns . its been almost a week and we haven't heard from the manager or any of the hotel he hotel staff .

They were still issues with the power outages and due to this reason i was not giber a check out receipt. Meaning that i was charged for the 2nd night stay that i never even stayed .

Cons:

Its very disappointing that the hotel did not even try to resolve any of our issues at all. No follow up phone call, no messages, no email. Absolutely Nothing . We were completely disregarded and treated like we didn't matter at all. But yet, They went ahead and charged my card for a night that i did not even stay .

Cons:

Only one out of the three lamps in the room was functioning. TV, microwave and fridge not functioning.
