Swimming pool, reception decor., staff are friendly.
The mattresses are awful we felt like we were sleeping on concrete, we woke up multiple times throughout the night aching. The mens locker rooms by the pool weren't very clean and we had a very old stained chair in the room which was off-putting.
Clean , tidy , warm and food in the bar was lovely.
Main entrance door very hard to move round.

Few things didn’t work properly.
The staff were excellent, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great.
The rooms are a bit tired
As a frequent traveller I stay in a lot of hotels. From the minute we walked in the staff could not do enough for us, from reception to restuarant to the events team, a faultless experience! Customer service at its finest. An independently owned and run hotel. Comfortable beds, great rooms and fantastic conference facilities.
There wasn't anything I didn't like. Was really a fantastic stay.
Staff as always were very pleasant. Check-in process was efficient with no wait. Room size is generous with tv, bath, etc
I was allocated room 290, I have had rooms around this before which during the night there is noise nearby from some form of working area where equipment starts and stops all through the night. Below the room is a loading bay of some description and between 22.00hrs and 23.00hrs there were bins being moved about there and washed out etc causing noise. After that the machinery noise starting and stopping during the night made for a poor nights sleep and with the need to get up at 5am I didn't feel refreshed. I have mentioned this before and the staff say 'oh let us know if it happens again' but the hotel should be aware these rooms around that area are noisey and advise customers on check-in. I will be requesting rooms away from this area as I book going forward
