Big room
Noisy heating
Very clean fresh room nice big comfortable bed
Booking.Com system is useless when I attempted to make late changes to booking. I was able to make changes by dealing directly with hotel and in doing so find that this is more convenient and better value than using booking.com. In future I am unlikely to use booking.com for any services.
Cleanliness, food, location, facilities
Good selection of breakfast items. Friendly helpful staff.. Nice decor, decent lesiure facilities.
Patio doors instead of windows in a hotel in North of Scotland is a bit strange, im sure tyere must be some logic, but it beats me . Room was cool at night.
Room was very comfortable
Evening meal in restaurant was excellent, with lovely staff
I did not use the pool but my granddaughter throughly enjoyed the experience
Other guests noisy after midnight going to their rooms
However this is not the hotels fault, just I considerate guests
Everything
The rules about the pool. Can’t have 1 adult with 3 kids.
Friendly staff and clean hotel. Food at evening meal was lovely
The room we had was beside the pool, there was no window for fresh air and my pregnant friend couldn’t sleep due to the noise and a migraine from the smell of the chlorine.
I stayed at the hotel for a private dinner dance event, which was excellent - the ballroom and bar are perfect and the service was very attentive.
The food was hot and tasty and the team worked hard all night, led by Gavin, who was so friendly and never stopped! Breakfast was also very good, with lots of choice.
My room was spacious and comfortable, albeit rather dated, with tired furniture. However it’s clear money is being invested in refurbishing the hotel, which was previously a Marriott. I would definitely stay here again.
All day swimming suited us to a T. Room service food I'd say was 10 out of 10 especially the pepperoni pizza!
We would have liked to stay an extra day and despite lots and lots of communications with the hotel staff they couldn't see the woods for the trees. Discounted rate to stay 2 nights and then wanting to charge full rate, the normal advertised rate to add an extra night. It seems extremely silly to do this when a person stays longer it's cheaper for the hotel but, they don't want to pass these savings on to customers instead choosing to charge an arrival rate instead of a stay on rate, also it was mid week day, a certainly thought and still think that this process could have been handled better, allowed for the circumstances of already there with the reduced costs not being passed on, very shortsightedness.
I chose to ignore there arrogance on this and moved to the Hilton, we left a day early because of this attitude, depriving the dyce hotel with further income from onsite sales.
Not going back, they have good facilities, the implication of charging process has totally put us off. Table with lamp on it is broken with part broken off just put in a drawer. You have to move table away from wall to access the sockets, when you move the table the leg wobbles and falls off.
Really friendly staff at check-in, main reception area was lovely. We used the pool which was great. Nice shallow area and deeper end. The room was nicely sized with comfortable beds.
Shower wasn’t hugely powerful but it is a large hotel.
