Rude staff and elevator broken
Value and location
They charge now to park in that huge parking lot. It is not like parking is a scarcity
It was just okay, typical hotel.
Advertised a pool, and it’s closed or well according to the staff “under construction”. — 7.00 for a parking a night.. in the hotel parking lot…. Breakfast was good but pancake maker was down and all of us guests were quite upset about it collectively. — Hotel could’ve been cleaner as well. I wouldn’t stay here again. Not the worst but there is definitely so much better.
I was definately surprised with breakfast it was a welcomed comfort and the all day tea and coffee is a plus plus.
close to Dr. appt. room was spacious and comfortable.
Was surprised to be charged $8 for parking! I mean it’s a hotel you have to travel to, you should be able to at least park for free.
Paying extra for parking was ridiculous
Paying for parking
Location was near where I needed to be.
Parking area and entrance were very open and complicated when I first arrived.
Comfortable
Bathroom could be a bit cleaner. Hot tea water maker needs cleaning. Apple juice machine didn't work.
Very meaningful for travelers....great job...truly enjoyed that service
Parking fee....☹️
I really didn’t enjoy my stay. The price was too high for the quality and conditions provided. I would also like to mention that since checking out, I have been receiving promotional messages from this hotel through the app for the past two weeks. I contacted the hotel and asked them to stop sending me these messages, but they continue to send them.
Pillows, bed coverings
$7 parking fee that I was not expecting
Location
The ac is the room didn’t get cold and was extremely warm. The shower had no hot water and we couldn’t shower before leaving. Very disappointing.
The hotel had a wonderful location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Your breakfast was awesome and a great experience extremely clean and they had a game room that was awesome. That have never seen in any location that I have been at, the staff and the guest was very polite, and My Husband and I will definitely come back .
My worst hotel experience ever! (We were in room 504 of the Cary St., downtown Richmond VA Holiday Inn Hotel in August 2026) Bathroom sink clogged with clumps of hair (see photo) which we could not entirely clear so we had to brush our teeth, wash our hands, etc. over the bathtub. Bathtub had some previous guest’s hair in it. Refrigerator only slightly cool with no controls and no freezer and we had to fill bags with ice to keep medication that required refrigeration cold. Air conditioners located near the floor which caused inferior and inefficient cooling of room. No body wash and the holder for shampoo and body wash was broken and hanging off wall. Halls and room with musty odor. We arrived late after a long days drive so we decided to report our complaints to the front desk in the morning. When we reported to Cheryl at the front desk in the morning she was distant and not even slightly apologetic and did not offer any discount. In fact her behavior was that of someone who hated her job and should not be working with the public. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again. Oh, BTW, parking is NOT free. They charge $20 to park in their underground garage that had homeless people hanging out in there.
