Pros:

The good size room with 2 comfortable queen beds, mini refrigerator, microwave and extra chair was perfect for a short stay. We didn't get to take advantage of the included breakfast buffet at the next door restaurant.

Nice one night stay
Pros:

The breakfast was decent, but the selection could have been better. We were in Richmond for our grandson's graduation from VCU. We only stayed one night, but everything was OK.

Cons:

Nothing

The staff was lovely, the room was fine, the breakfast was lacking.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

The breakfast was sparse, uninteresting and barely warm. The toaster didn’t work very well (I had to put the toast down three times to get it to brown my bread. Out of coffee and took until nearly done with my breakfast before it was ready.

I was only there for one night, so it was not bad for such a short stay but for a long visit, I don’t think I would go h
Pros:

I liked that everything was pretty easy to find. And that they had a pool, but they don’t have any kind of posting that the pool is not open until Memorial Day till Labor Day.

Cons:

The room itself was relatively nice, the bathroom is where it could’ve used work. The bedroom floor needed to be swept. It was obvious it was not swept in between customers. The bathroom, same thing the toilet was not cleaned. There were urine stains on the back of it. And there were pubes around the toilet on the side of the bathtub, and there was a lot of hair and dirt behind the bathroom door and the blow dryer was really sticky like it had not been wiped in forever, and the bathtub faucet was broken and the water pressure honestly kind of sucked. Lastly, the refrigerator did not feel cold at all, but I had stuff that needed to be refrigerated so I put it in there anyway and the next morning everything was frozen solid.

One step up from a crack motel
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Very old and poorly renovated, in an industrial area and it felt like it was a hotel that offers weekly rentals or transitioning people from halfway houses or the streets. I was very uncomfortable staying here and the reviews I read must have been paid reviews.

Great stay
Pros:

This hotel truly met Best Western standards as far as indoor appearance, cleanliness and staff. Nigel was very courteous to a group checking in in front of us. When I stepped forward he was attentive and addressed all my needs.
The room was clean and quiet.
The Victory Bar and Grill was very welcoming. Angela was friendly, attentive and informative. The food was true comfort food. The hours state open till 9 pm. But they do not close the doors at 9. Very relaxing.
The continental breakfast is complimentary the seating area is large.
We will be staying again!
