Carpet sticky, toilet seats falling off. Lighting extremely poor.

Horrible.
Pros:

This place is disgusting. Carpets were filthy, mold in bath tub. Ceilings were water stained, beds were hard. It was like staying in the a third world country. The refrigerator was dirty. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible experience.
Pros:

The hotel was in poor condition. The rooms were not clean, water stains were throughout in the ceiling. The popcorn ceiling was peeling off the ceiling. The covers have stains all over it. Wi-fi was inconsistent. The refrigerator was dirty. It was a terrible experience.

Cons:

The hotel need major renovations.

The front desk lady accommodated us with another room after we explained the air conditioning issues

The only good thing was the location.

Cons:

The web says it serves Breakfast but it doesn't. The kitchen was not stocked with anything you could cook with. The place was not cleaned very well. There was food all along the wall on the backslash and where the trash cans were. The ceiling was falling down. Very bad

I would not choose this location again in its current state.

The property needs some major renovations. My room was smelly and had cock roaches. The room was cleaned well but the chairs in the room were severely stained.

bed sheet was dirty mark badly, I stay 3 nights first night ready to bed very tire and see the sheet was badly dirty yellow mark ..... the room cleaning lady make the bed she just flow up for next guest only she does not care it , I report next day to front desk

Peacefully uneventful, stress-free stay, and a staff that really goes out of their way for guests
Pros:

Privacy was respected, fairly quiet, Good Cable Service/Nice TV's for price, AMAZING STAFF

Cons:

A little bummed that the pool is under renovation, along with the fitness center :(

Deception at the Main Stay
Pros:

Staff was helpful, and the lobby was clean.

Cons:

The rooms were dirty: carpets, curtains, and bathrooms. Phones did not work. The hallways were dirty. Needs a lot of work. The 3rd party websites claimed the continental breakfast. Manystay stopped serving breakfast during Covid. My family and I were very disappointed. Breakfast is something we look forward to during hotel stays. Also, it is false advertising. first suite we were assigned to had a hole in the bathroom ceiling. I believe it was being worked on. So we had to change our suites. The decor of rooms was very outdated and dungy looking. Main Stay Williamsburg needs a lot of work.

Cons:

Guys outside the front door smoking weed.
Whole lobby smelled of smoke.
Third floor smelled like throw up my kids were covering their nose.
Rooms looked like recently updated jail cells
We left in about five mins

Pros:

I have stayed here for many years. The service has continued to go downhill this stay I didn't have paper towels in the room and usually there are tea bags for hot tea not this time. When we stayed there in June the toilet was sort of clogged I reported it to the front desk and was given a plunger. I didn't expect that. I am disappointed in how things have changed. Some places you still advertise breakfast but there isn't any. That's enough will probably try some place when we come again
