Very cool place to stay. Owners were friendly and tavern food was excellent.
Wonderful little historic hotel. The bedding was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening before bed.
The room was lovely! The Hotel had a very popular restaurant and bar area. We had just returned from a wedding and didn’t eat but had a nice conversation with the bartender and also the owner. Will definitely return to enjoy the restaurant!
Absolutely love this cute historic hotel. They truly care about their hotel and guests. This was our 3rd stay and we would definitely stay again. Everything about our stay was excellent!!
Thank you!
The interior is beautiful. Well stocked coffee area. The only down thing was the bed was so very soft on one side a bit firmer on the other. Communication with the staff was good.
Nice little beautiful historic inn, but for the price there was a lot to be left desired. Starting with self check-in, there is nobody on the property overnight, they do have somebody that lives next door and they do have a residence of somebody that lives there who also has another job. So it's pretty much self-checking and you're on your own. Secondly, nothing is complimentary, not even water or coffee. Restaurant and bar is closed a couple days a week, which happened to fall on the day we were there. You can also not change the temperature of the room as it is controlled by the hotel because of the shared by other rooms. There are little signs all over the place that tell you not only can you not change the temperature of your room, but also how much coffee or water or soda or the bottled water in your room is going to cost you, and a reminder not to take or steal any soaps or towels, etc. the Wi-Fi is very spotty and is the only thing that is an amenity that they don't charge you for. The TV is mounted in a weird place on a sidewall. Connected to Roku with not many options. No local tv, no movies only was offered on the most basic Roku. Beds were very unstable in the frames moved a bit, and overly soft as well... you basically dip down in the middle, the room we had had a separate bathroom down the hallway which was fine, the shower head needs to be replaced, the biggest surprise is that they had a painter outside our window before we checked out in the morning.
an excellent place, but note that there are a number of steps to climb if you arrive late.
This place is absolutely delightful and utterly charming. It’s an old inn but with updated amenities where you need them I.e., electrical outlets, tv and bathroom.
Grew up in an older home and reminded me of childhood! We loved sitting out on the upper porch and we were lucky enough to hear some music in the restaurant/bar area the night we arrived. Was good being home in the northeast!
This was our second time here - super clean and convenient, friendly staff, good dinner. Will stay here again.
Great stay, bed was very comfortable, facilities clean.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was excellent. The hotel was very charming.
What a lovely traditional hotel with charming rooms and relaxing views from the front porch! Close to a well known large lake but within a short drive to the brewery winery and restaurants in Saratoga Springs.
Exceeded expectations. Last minute stay and so surprised by the charm, comfort and cleanliness.
Was more like an airbnb, check yourself in, not there so you have to use back entrance. No bar soap.
The owner was fabulous! Very friendly and very accommodating! The Hotel itself was just great! We sat on this beautiful balcony just relaxing and ordered food from the restaurant and the owner brought it up to us. The room was fabulous and very clean! I’ve would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to everyone!
Enjoyed the front porch.
The restaurant was excellent.
Nice historic hotel.
The person who helped me check in was so helpful and patient. The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.
