except for no handicap room the stay was adequate.
Pros:

We had requested a handicap room when we booked the room. when we got there, they had no handicap rooms available. when we checked out, we ask them about the handicap room and they told us Booking.com did not request one. either booking.com did not do what it was suppose request the handicap room or holiday inn lied to us.
We got there early and they wanted a $25.00 extra for each person for early check in. We waited the 3 hours to check in at 3pm. I have never heard of or paid an extra fee to check in early.

Cons:

We did not like the extra charge of $25.00 per person for early check in. We did not appreciate not being able to get the handicap room we had requested.

A solid choice for accommodation in Charleston
Pros:

Overall, we had a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast offered plenty of choices. The hotel was hopping during our stay, but we enjoyed a quiet night.

Cons:

The additional charge for parking caught me by surprise, particularly given that the room rate was already on the high side.

Needs new staff at the front counter
Pros:

AC was not cold, bathroom fixtures are dated but most of all was the staff at the front counter. At check-in around 10:30 pm, the lady was clearly bothered by us being there and when I tried to make small talk, she was having none of it. Very sour encounter for our experience in the door. Upon leaving the next morning my wife was turning in the keys and again trying to make sure if the key being turned in was good and did we need to do anything else and the guy said with a stare and short tone, "your good". Southern Charm or any charm from the counter staff was just absent. If short non-verbal is what your going for, mission accomplished. There for one night and went to akron and stayed at the Comfort Suites and had an entirely different experience.

We enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good.
