Very unhappy when we arrived to find this place was unmanned in the middle of nowhere.

Buyer beware. Despite the many reviews for this property extolling the virtues of the staff, they fail to mention that during the off season (a period not defined anywhere) there are no staff on site and you are basically renting a room in an empty hotel in the middle of nowhere. Its just off the motorway, no shops, no restaurants, nothing. The village, quoted as being 0.7 of a mile away (as the crow flies) is down a road you would not walk at night and there is nothing there when you arrive.

When we arrived on site to find this out, we contacted the proprietor and explained that this was not what we expected from the booking.com listing and asked to cancel our booking. Despite them telling us that the hotel was only 60% full (so no skin of their nose whether we stayed or not), they refused to let us cancel. After half an hour of haggling we managed to get a 50% refund.

If you're booking for "the off season" look elsewhere and even if your not, be careful.

Weinig tot geen personeel, geen ontbijt en weinig (geopende) restaurants in de buurt voor het diner.

Pros:

Ancien Hôtel réhabilité en appart'hotel.
Bon point de départ pour la Sierra negra quand on a une voiture.

Cons:

Il n'y a pas grand chose ouvert autour (pourtant encore en Août )pour se restaurer il faut aller à Huesca.
Pas de possibilité de prendre ou se faire un petit déjeuner, pas de cafetière micro-onde, réfrigérateur.
