I have never written a negative review in my life. But as a solo female traveller on my first ever trip alone, I felt I had a responsibility to future guests — particularly women travelling alone — to be honest about my experience at this hotel.

• Check-in
After a long flight, the first thing I needed was a warm welcome and a moment to breathe. Neither came.

I had just arrived and, still on the doorstep, asked the receptionist whether he thought my taxi driver had overcharged me — a simple question from a solo traveller trying to get her bearings in a new country. He confirmed I had been overcharged, but rather than leaving it there, his immediate follow-up was to point out — in a noticeably dismissive tone — that I had previously declined their transfer service and that this was essentially my own fault. I had just walked through the door. I hadn’t even sat down.

He then moved straight into a sales pitch for excursions and hotel services without pausing for breath. No welcome. No warmth. No acknowledgement that I had just arrived alone in a foreign country for the first time. Just defensiveness and upselling from the very first moment.

It set a tone that unfortunately continued throughout my stay.

• Luggage
The hotel has no lift. I had a large, heavy suitcase. I had to ask — not be offered — assistance carrying it upstairs. The receptionist took it to the top of the stairs, left it there, didn’t show me to my room, and when I asked him to clarify where my room was, he visibly expressed his irritation before pointing at a door. I was taken aback.

•The taxi incident
This was the most stressful part of my stay. I had arranged a taxi for 6:15am for an early morning train to Mostar. At 6:15am there was no taxi outside. I waited several minutes, received no message, had no contact number for the driver, and found nobody at reception. The out of hours number went unanswered.

Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen – auch wenn das Meckern auf hohem Niveau ist: Die Armaturen im Badezimmer wiesen einige Kratzer auf. Zudem ist der Wasserhahn so direkt über dem Abfluss positioniert, dass das Wasser nicht optimal abfliessen kann und sich leicht staut. Für Perfektionisten ein Detail, das man optimieren könnte, dem insgesamt positiven Eindruck aber kaum Abbruch tut.

Oda biraz küçük

Asansör yok odamız 2.kattaydı, merdivenler dik ve dar; görevli beyfendi, iki kadın olmamıza rağmen bavullar konusunda kibarlık yapıp yardımcı olmayı teklif edebilirdi ki, biz hallederdik zaten de böyle bir kibarlık bekledik açıkçası. 2 kişilik odanın tuvaleti çok küçük kapıyı zor kapatıyorsunuz. Odada sadece tek bir priz var, iki kişi aynı anda telefonlarınızı şarj edemiyorsunuz, ya da banyoda lavabonun yanındaki prizi kullanmanız lazım ki çok güvenli değil. İlk gün sıcak suda sorun yoktu yalnız ertesi gece sıcak su yoktu, banyodaki peteğin sıcaklığını değiştirince ısındı ki tesadüfen deneyerek fark ettik, bunun bilgisi de verilmedi. Koridorlardaki ışıklar da eski usül basmalı, bavullarla merdivenin ortasında kalakalıyorsunuz. Burada kalacaksanız önce ışıkları yakıp öyle yüklenin bavulları :)

Jedini minus,ali svakako nije do samog hotela je ta garaza sto je dosta daleko! Ali kazem nije do hotela takav je grad! Hotel nudi opciju vozaca da vas odveze i doveze do garaze.Sto je odlicna stvar.
