Gana Siargao Island Resort

Outstanding place due to the outstanding support staff and general manager, Sean. Never too busy to help and answer questions. They were all willing to help plan your day to maximize your time and stay. Rooms were clean and big enough.

Gana is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable with duvets (hard to find in the Philippines). The location is a bit off the main stretch, bit still walkable and it’s quiet! You can also rent a motorbike from them, which is recommended for Siargao. All of the staff at Gana are very friendly, especially Sean the manager. He is there all the time, incredibly friendly, and willing to offer recommendations.

Very nice and clean hotel with nice and kind staff❤️Is not so far from city center and many restaurants. You can rent a bike there and it is not so far from beach and surfs spots. I recommend it to everyone!😊

Gana Resort is in a good location, not too far from bars and restaurants. Tuktuks/tricycle are available constantly from the main road outside.
The rooms here were spotless and modern. The beds were very comfortable too. The bathrooms were clean. We did have a little trouble getting the hot water for the shower, but did manage to figure it out.
Kettle in room with some tea and coffee. There is both hot and cold water readily available at the reception desk which is handy.
Siargao often has power cuts, so we did have limited electricity one day, with no wifi- but this was across most of the town and cannot be helped.
The staff at Gana Resort were welcoming and helpful. The cleaners did a good job refreshing the rooms.
There is a small patio area outside each room so you can sit in the sun if desired. We tended to hang our wet swimwear/towels etc out here, and they dried well in the heat.
There is a bar/restaurant on site which is reasonably priced.
I would stay here again!

Stayed at Gana Resort early November after finishing a tour and although the WiFi wasn’t that great, that was to be expect. You won’t get great WiFi in most places in the Philippines.
The resort was in a great location (quite close to the beach, good restaurant around and great nightlife). Sean (the manager) and his staff really proved that they care about their customers by providing motorbikes for us, transport to and from places and told us about good places to visit on the island. Sean was there every day we were there, even on his days off just to make sure his customers are having the best experience whilst in Siargao.

Simple, clean, comfortable and basic hotel. No breakfast included. Friendly staff

The Customer Service is superb!

The best part of the hotel is the staff, in particular the manager Sean, Sean is super helpful and ready to accommodate the clients’ requests.
He arranged transport back to the airport and motorbikes for a good very good price. Also he gave us advices where to go to eat and wha to see,
The hotel is very well located between General Luna and Cloud 9. I advice to rent a scooter to move around, but also Tricycles will do. The rooms are clean but not sound proof, so you might hear some noice if your neighbors are loud at night. Beds are very comfy. There is no curtain to shade the light in the morning. Sunrise is at 5:30 am. Bring a sleeping mask if that is disturbing for you.
All in all I enjoyed my stay at Ghana and, if in Siargao, I would go back to this hotel.

Stayed there from Oct 31-Nov 3 and although our stay wasn’t perfect—there were a lot of mosquitoes (which is not unusual for the island life!), the weak shower pressure, the weak WiFi, the location isn’t the best+ what made up for it was the kindness of the manager! He was so apologetic and I could tell that he was really eager to know our honest thoughts about the hotel. He also checked up on us a lot and was rly sooo kind! Thanks Sean for accommodating my friends and I and for being patient with us. Would def stay here again bcos u rly feel taken care of

Has good customer service and overall the room is nice, what i like the most is there balcony in the room..The location is very accessible..I'll be back this hotel next time i go in siargao

This place is awesome, food are great chicken bqq (inasal? Or something taste great) the only thing i didnt like is the music they’d played same tune over n over the whole entire night but it seems like no one cares because they served a good food..
