Mill House staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful. The location is perfect. It demonstrates the epitome of Charleston hospitality.
Was there for a small conference ( Healthcare Design ) and the service was outstanding. It is always the best when the service is almost invisible. Everything was where it needed to be ..... at the right time!
property was nice, historic charm, great pool, clean rooms and good central location.
no parking options we’re kind of annoying, we stayed in several cities during this trip and didn’t have as much as an issue as in Charleston. Having to pay either $65 per day for valet or $40 overnight for the garage as the only 2 options weren’t ideal to say the least. We were in a room right next to the elevator and on top of the walls being thin and it being pretty noisy, the gap under the door was very large to the point where you could see in from outside. We ended up stacking some towels underneath to try and muffle the noise and hide the light at night. Valet guys were EXTREMELY rude during our stay to the point it made me so upset we avoided the front altogether. Rude and made sexist comments towards me to the point another person standing nearby came up to check on me. The front desk staff was amazing and so so sweet but the Valet service department needs a full overhaul or some serious talking to, no guests will come back if you talk to them that way. Definitely ruined the entire experience for us
Amazing location , pleasant lobby, fitness room, having a pool, cafe, bar and restaurant.
Very slow breakfast service on 2 mornings in the Iron Rose.
Very clean, well stocked, room was a good size, friendly staff, room was nicely decorated. The hotel was in a great location, easy walk to everywhere.
Bed was not comfortable at all
Lovely hotel. Great location to all the sights. Makes Charleston walkable. Greatly enjoyed the turndown service each night.
From the moment my daughter and I stepped in we expeienced human kindness and appreciation for us being there..
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fantastic experience at Iron Rose! Tiffany (“Sticks”) and Nathan (“Nate Dog”) were outstanding. Even when they had to close early, they went above and beyond to take care of everyone. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, and both the restaurant and coffee shop crews deserve 5 stars.
The rooms are always clean, and the staff is consistently courteous and professional. The service and hospitality are the main reasons we stay here every time we’re in Charleston. Highly recommend!
We loved this hotel and wished we stayed more than just one night! The staff was super-accomidating, the room was perfect, and the location to nearby restaurants and sights was wonderful. The hotel bar and restaurant were both outstanding! We will be back!
Great location and central to the sites. Enjoyed being able to walk to dinner, shops and the market. Pretty pool area for relaxing.
Hotel rooms staff everything was amazing Pool and outside environment was fantastic
Room was nice.. However… very loud.. it was overlooking Meeting St… maybe an investment in multi-paned windows? Staff interaction was nice.
The champagne happy hour.
Keeping the coffee shop open later.
The hotel itself is lovely and the staff was very nice. We loved the music and the courtyard and our room was well appointed. The only complaint is that the shower pressure was not good and it was difficult to find a temperature that was not cold or too hot in the shower. Very finicky.
Nice location
Nice pool
Nice room and super clean
Plenty of restaurants in hotel
The Mill House is an amazing experience. Top quality from check in to check out. This was not my first time and will not be our last. Location to the historic district and to the outstanding restaurants can’t be beat. The wonderful staff met our every need and then some.
