Close to Alton towers, Value for Money, good breakfast.
Very basic rooms, 2 stars or less. the heating was not working correctly, leading to a cold night which was corrected on the second day.

Excellent place to stay in the perfect location. All staff were amazing, Margaret was so helpful with a late change to the booking. The food was wonderful for dinner and breakfast. Will definitely be staying again in the future.
Comfy beds and clean also 10 mins from alton towers which was the purpose of our booking

Over priced, bathroom was dirty, pub only had 2 beers on tap and restaurant didn’t open till gone 7pm.

It was the ideal place to stay for our weekend away and Margaret and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A very cozy place with open fires and 500 years of history. Considering it is only a 15 minute drive from Alton Towers is is certainly worth a vist
The location and cleanliness
L'emplacement du logement, proche du parc Alton Towers.
Literie inconfortable (on sent tous les ressorts), porte d'entrée du logement qui ne frotte et ferme à peine (sentiment d'insécurité pour nos affaires). La chasse d'eau qui ne fonctionne pas. Impossible de régler la température de l'eau de la douche (le réglage était bloqué). La déco très vieillotte comme la moquette.
