Parking lot was dark, sign was not lit, dirty inside and stinky too. People walking around the hotel late at night. I felt very unsafe just walking in to this hotel.

Pros:

I was told I couldn't reserve a room through your website for the time needed so I went elsewhere and was still charged for a room I didn't check in or use

Cons:

We had breakfast included in our payment. I was told by the person at reception that breakfast will be served from 6:30-10:30. We reached for breakfast at 9:40 and it was over. I asked the staff and they said it got over at 9:30 as planned.

They accepted our online booking, but upon arrival we were told there were no rooms available. We were asked either to cancel the reservation ourselves or to move to one of their affiliated hotels. However, the affiliated hotels were also fully booked. After being transferred between several hotels, we eventually found a room.
Despite the inconvenience, no apology or compensation was initially offered. We were later told by a staff member at the Sonesta @ Energy Corridor, affiliated hotel that a $10 discount would be applied if we stayed there. When we arrived, the staff member denied authorizing the discount and charged us the full price.
