Home from home
Pros:

Breakfast was really good. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Julie was so welcoming and friendly. We loved the pool table and made use of it. The location was perfect for Churnet Valley Railway

Lovely stay! Would recommend.
Pros:

We loved our stay here! Julie was very accommodating and welcoming. She made me lots of tea and also gave us a lift to and from the wedding venue. The room was beautiful and spacious. Great location.

Hostess Julie was very welcoming and concerned for our comfort.
Pros:

Location great when visiting Foxtail Barns for a wedding. Hostess welcoming and did everything to make us feel at home. Cooked breakfast was great with food cooked to individual tastes.

Cons:

Wasn't offered cereals or toast and marmalade for breakfast which would have been a nice touch, but there again we didn't ask! Orange juice poured out for us which I didn't want ,so was really a waste. Not a fan of textured bedding. I think plain smooth white bedding would be much better. Tap on wash basin in shower room wrong fit for the washbasin.

Beautiful and clean. The host deserves more than 5 stars.
Pros:

Julie is a great host and she couldn’t do enough for us. The place is spotless and the room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows (for a very picky person like me) were abundant so you can pick your best one and they all made a perfect match.
I would recommend a visit to my friends and if I am around the area again I would definitely choose this place.

All the expectation of a hotel (nice linen,fluffy towels,bathroom products) with a feel of home.
Pros:

It was the perfect location for our Bombay Express dining experience on the Churnet Valley railway. Also ideally placed for excellent dining at the Grosvenor restaurant (nearby campsite) and exploring Cheadle market town the history of the local Wetherspoons (and significance of its decor) is fascinating! Julie provided a lovely, friendly welcome and happily tailored our breakfast requirements around our other commitments - her full English on our last day was excellent. Great to chat to Julie about life and local history in Kingsley and the surrounding area. An all round delightful experience.
