Came for my birthday hoping to swim and enjoy a good time, first room had poo stains inside the toilet, the tub was nasty, it looked liked the first guest came and they didn’t even attempt to clean. Second room had had bad bed sheets with stains and grass tucked at the bottom. Don’t come. You’ll waste your money!
This hotel was disgusting! Unclean, the rooms had black mold and cockroaches! The rooms were very unclean. Cockroaches everywhere and the fruit flies were horrible. We complained and didn’t receive our money back! The staff did not care. It was a horrible stay! Also had blood stains on bedding and bullet holes in the walls!
This motel is in deplorable condition. No one should be staying here. Dirty. Disgusting. Electrical hazards. No smoke detectors. No one at the front desk. Just awful.
We arrived late in the evening to check in. We were told that there was no working television on the property. Was that okay with us? What choice did we have at that point? Our first room was dirty. We asked to be moved. Our second room was also dirty but not quite as bad. We had to ask for all new sheets and pillow cases before we would sleep in the bed. We asked to have the room cleaned the next day and they did a decent job. There was one staff that was very helpful. Her name was Mishayla (sp?). She provided anything we needed. She was also the person in charge of the breakfast (which was decent). We got a very wierd vibe from the place. Not very many hotel guests but quite a few people living there. Almost nobody at the breakfast. We would not stay there again.
Seriously not a good spot. People in the room next to me were screaming at each other all night and then the room on the other side had a dog that wouldn’t shut up. Then, housekeeping woke me up at like 10am after a noisy night of barely any sleep. Hard pass on this place!
Really sorry to write this review because the lady on the front desk was very sweet, the room was fine and we did not have any problems with the hotel during our 1 night stay in March. However, I left something precious to me in the room, realised that same day and contacted the hotel to recover it, by the time I called they said that housekeeping had gone for the day but they would call me back tomorrow. No call back. After multiple calls over the past few weeks they still haven't located my item nor once called me back to explain what has happened to it. The hotel is not massive and it was clearly a personal item. I'm left with only one conclusion, its really sad.
The amount of drug addicts that stay there or live there is horrible. The condition of the rooms were terrible, rust in the bathtub … cheap towels. The only reason why I stayed was because I knew I couldn’t get a refund. Never Ever again.
It’s usually in a lot better condition when I go. The room stunk , smelled like mildew. They had food stain under the sink. Definitely wasn’t cleaned properly before we checked in. The last time I went was almost a year ago and they didn’t have cable, I had to bring my Roku tv . They still don’t have cable. Other than that it was alright
Everything was nice
I am sorry the properties is old. It did not even have TV. Their continental breakfast was a disappointment. I am sorry very sad for a Ramada hotel. I stayed only one night instead of the two nights. Diane Davis
We looked at 3 rooms before we took the 3rd room . The rooms were dirty or damaged, dirty water in the bottom of the refrigerator, air conditioner cover leaning against the bed, missing lamp shades, dirty floors rusty metal. Hotels.com needs to inspect these places.
I saw 3 roaches in my room, bottom of bathroom door was falling apart. Toilet bowl had pee and poop stains,no cable and wifi was in and out. I won't be back!
Did not stay, no tv
Staff do not understand English . No one can tell me where is the 50.00 deposit that I paid. Someone should contact me in reference to this
First we had to switch rooms bcuz the curtains woulnt close. Every room we went in had that same problem. We had to settle for double beds instead of king. No tv service they said they switching providers. Hot water was off but we had to let it run for apprx 10 min b4 it came on. Breakfast Mon morning was joke. Eggs ice cold ,nothing prepared. The person who did the preparing was workingwit cut/holes in jeans. Worst experience ever.
I recommend the Ramada if you’re ever in New Iberia and need a place to stay . The prices are lovely , the staff are friendly & the breakfast amazing .
I enjoyed it over there . The staff was nice , the hotel is huge & it’s close to all the stores in town
I did not stay here.. They T.V’s didn’t work.. People were smoking weed in the rooms.. the room smelled like smoke and had dust, some spare key and change on the top of the TV cabinet.. Jusy beware
There was hair stuck on the shower wall when we arrived. Sat on the bed and almost slid off cause it was very worn. Sketch person approached us trying to sell tools. Told hotel staff and they ignored it.
200 cigarette butts where I needed to walk my dog—- 2 used condoms, a used tampon—- the fridge did not work—- dirty splats on the walls—- the water took 22 minutes to heat up—- cable was broken, so no TV, curtains falling down—- trash would blow into my room when the door was opened— BOTH locks were broken on the door—- No gym—- only one ice machine on the property- it had sticky stuff on the knob—- I cleaned 3 hours—- it was not okay. I finally felt unsafe when the second door lock broke. I really tried to make the best of it—- but couldn’t stay. I hope this encourages them to get things fixed. Front of the property seemed nice—- and the courtyard could be nice—- but Eeeeeeaaak. Very sad.
