Relaxing Stay with Pool Access and Mountain View, but Room Change Was a Letdown
Pros:

I stayed at Frank Ao Nang Krabi Resort in March and overall had a relaxing experience. The resort is located in a quiet area a little away from the main street, which makes it peaceful and perfect for unwinding. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the main road, so keep that in mind if you're not renting a bike or using tuk-tuks.

We booked a Pool Access Twin Room, which was clean, cozy, and had a very comfortable bed. The direct pool access was great, and the mountain view from the room was beautiful — a really calm and refreshing vibe throughout the stay.

The staff were friendly and polite, and most of the stay went smoothly.
However, one downside was that when we arrived, we were told that due to a "late booking", our reserved room was only available for two nights. For the third night, we had to move to a different room upstairs, which was actually a lower-priced room. That part was disappointing and quite inconvenient, as we had booked in advance expecting to stay in the same room.

Aside from that, the overall experience was still enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a peaceful place with mountain views, pool access, and a quiet atmosphere near Ao Nang — this resort is worth considering. Just be sure to double-confirm your room availability if you're staying more than a couple of nights.

Frank Ao Nang was a great short stay for us and we will return to stay again. The staff were amazing and so lovely to deal with. There are two great pools and the surroundings and view are magical. It is a short, beautiful walk to the main road and the gorgeous beaches and beach clubs.

We had a little bungalow and it was very cute! This is a little hotel off the Main Street and about a 25 minute walk to the beach and lots of shops along the way! Close to one of the new night markets which was fabulous, clean and had lots of food options!

Fantastic stay! Had to stay here after checking in at another hotel and it being dirty. Frank Resort is very clean with people cleaning constantly round the pools and site. Every day had floor mopped, new towels and 2 free bottles of water put in the room. Unfortunately the shower didn’t have hot water but it was so hot I only wanted cool ones. My friends attend in another room and had hot water. It comes with hairdryer and private balcony. Pool is lovely, watched them clean it every morning and evening. Restaurant on site wasn't the best however you are just off the main road so only 5 min walk to lots of restaurants. Quiet location also! Have lovely staff and a travel agent at the front who is a lovely lady! She helped with everything, booking tours, lifts, airport transfers, recommendations etc! And all of this for only £150 for 4 nights!!

De glemte at sørge for transport fra lufthavnen, som der var aftalt. Da jeg ankom virkede døren til værelset ikke. Det tog 30 min at ordne. Der blev ikke forklaret om hotellet faciliteter eller restaurant. Hotellet var ganske udemærket. Og det sluttede fint af med personalet.

Hôtel au top et au calme
Pros:

Séjour superbe avec un personnel aux petits soins. Un conseil louer les scouts auprès de l'hôtel pas plus cher que chez un loueur dans la grande rue.
L'hôtel est Bien situé au calme dans une rue parallèle à la grande rue touristique.

Pros:

Wir hatten einmal Probleme mit der Toilette und einmal mit der Klimaanlage. Beide wurden nach Meldung sofort behoben. Die Anlage ist schön und das Personal freundlich. Leider ist meine Frau am Pool zweimal in Glasscherben getreten. Kann passieren, sollte aber nicht.

Frank ao nang est un super hôtel. La piscine est agréable pour se poser tranquille.
Le personnel est souriant et agréable. Les chambres sont propres.

Par contre, il faut en parler. La porte qui donne sur la chambre d’à côté c’est presque vivre avec les voisins. Et l’eau…. Pour une douche compter 30 min et encore. La pression est proche de zéro et quand l’eau chaude arrive faites ultra vite. Car aussi vite arrivée qu’elle repart aussitôt. Je pense que pour un soucis d’équité on a droit à 10 sec d’eau chaude par chambre.

Sinon dommage car pour le prix ça reste vraiment très correct.

Okej hotell men skulle behöva en renovering! Extremt hårda sängar så är man i behov av någorlunda mjukhet och sömn så skulle jag inte rekommendera detta hotell. Sängarna va som brädbitar! Fin och trevlig service i receptionen och stora poolen va fin, den mindre mer smutsig.

Lovely hotel and amazing service

My partner & I had 3 nights here. We were pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous this place was! Both pool areas lovely and both get the sun. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms with water provided daily. Jan on reception was an absolute star!! She’s there all day and can give you advice on everything. She helped us organise a private island hoping tour and gives honest advice with no up selling and can get you great deals. It’s extremely peaceful yet only less than 5 mins walk to all the bars and restaurants and a nice 15-20 mins stroll to the beach.

Very nice hotel with very nice staff and very good value of money, I spend few days in frank ao nang and I was very happy to stay in this hotel, very quiet no noise and near to everything u need in krabi especially the amazing ao nang beach and famous street just walking distance and u get there the hotel rooms are very comfortable and and very clean, there is also a hotel tourist representative in the check in area she is very helpful she can help you with whatever u need to do in your journey, thank you frank ao nang for the great stay definitely recommended and absolutely will come back.
