We have eliminated our business center. We are no longer providing room service. Renovation work will be carried out from 1/1/2025 to 7/31/2025. The following facilities will be closed: Select guestrooms/floors. Our parking lot renovations are underway. During this time the parking lot entrance on 13th street will be closed. All onsite parking will be located on the East side of the building. Entrance to the hotel and Piesanos will be filtered through the Breezeway. Wonderful first experience here. Looking forward to many more as my child starts her 8 years at UF.
Pros:

Clean, fresh smelling room. Very close to the UF with wonderful views. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfy bed. Food onsite. Great price this visit but my three nights I booked in October 2-5th is quadruple the cost per night and it’s hard to fathom that.

Cons:

Just wish they had smart TVs so I could link my Netflix account.

We stay here because it is close to my daughters house but we are always satisfied with our stay.
Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was that the air conditioner/heater in room 413 was so blasted loud. It sounded like a plane was landing in our room. Luckily the second night was not so cold so we turned it off and we slept well. I realize these machines can’t be quiet but this was the loudest I’ve ever heard. But the renovations that have been done are awesome and the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Pros:

Compare to my previous experience with other hotels in USA this one is really good for the money they charged. Big room with furniture that still looks like a new. Clean. Friendly staff. And personal thanks from my skin for the soap bar they provided to guests. :)

Cons:

Sound isolation is not good. Especially when there are noisy loudy kids in the next room.

I would definitely stay there again if I visit U of F.
Pros:

Newly remodeled. The most comfortable bed & pillows! Right across the street from University of Florida and near downtown Gainesville. Great value & convenient place to stay if you’re attending an athletic event at U of F.

Cons:

No hot tub.
