Location! Location! Location! We were 2-3 blocks from Bourbon St. and another 2-3 blocks from Canal St. in another direction!
The bathrooms could have been cleaner.
What is it from Bourbon Street and restaurants and clean
Booked it because of good reviews and location for 3 days in New Orleans. The lobby is well done. The room was very dated and had black mold in the bathroom because of the poor decision of the glass partition "acting" like a shower door. Toilet was clogged when we arrived, but staff cleared in in about 30 min. AC was not as cold as it should have been, corridor was consistently cooler than the room. Room was on 2nd floor and quiet. Bed was ok, prefer mine a little firmer. didn't try the restaurant. Pool was too crowded to try. 3 for location. 2 for almost everything else.
We had $2000 worth of items go missing from our room during the day while we were sight seeing. It was our third day, and the do not disturb sign had been out our entire visit. The night manager Parker was incredibly unhelpful and unpleasant.
Great experience and a wonderful location. Even better is the amazing staff and the excellent service. Right in the French Quarter close to everything in walking distance. We had a great time with the concierge who provided us with lot of recommendations and information about the area. Amazing pool with a great pool deck perfect for summer weather. Highly recommended
Took a girls trip to this establishment with a party of 6. We arrived and two rooms were ready. We were told the third room was ready and was giving the keys to 336. Went to 336 and the room was dirty with maids standing directly in front of the room at 245PM. We went back downstairs to inform Zahid that the room had not been cleaned.
He did not know why it hadn’t been cleaned.
Fast forward, we go out to eat instead to wait in them to service the room.
We return two hours later to the room, open the door, still the room is dirty from prior patrons.
We again go back downstairs to inquire what is happening. At this time a new staff member is there. We now are giving another room on another floor away from the other ladies in our party .
We speak to the manager Adriana Parker
At 11pm as she was not present when all this occurred. She was unapologetic and couldn’t care less for the inconvenience. She then proceeds to offer removal of one night resort fee which was not removed at time of check out.
Additionally, the place is dingy and dark.
There are better options in the area , so do yourself a favor a favor and stay somewhere else. Gave two stars for friendly service from the concierge Eddie and security guard Corey.
Everything was amazing ..
I didn’t like we were charged resort fee , but I don’t think it was the property fault .. if you book with booking.com , please read read read, because I was surprise by the fee once I got check in. Overall the staff were amazing .
Great location, fabulous staff, clean room, lovely pool
Breakfast was a bit slow especially when your on a time schedule
L’emplacement très bien situé dans le centre
Un peu cher et pas de petit déjeuner buffet inclus
location!
breakfast wasnt included
Location was great, staff was wonderful.
Overall condition of the room was dirty and worn.
The hotel is located in the French quarter one block off Bourbon Street so you are in the action but right on top of it. The hotel was clean & kept its historic charm. The pool was nice & the food in the restaurant was top quality, as were the bar staff & servers!
It was noisy outside Saturday night, but to he expected being close to Bourbon Street.
The location and the staff.
The rooms were modern however it was a blackout on bourbon street which included the hotel so I didn’t get to enjoy either
Location, not to close but not to far at all to burban st.
Never had body lotion in the shower even after asked
I had booked this hotel for a 3-night stay (Wednesday to Saturday) later this year. My plans have changed and I needed to modify my stay to Thursday to Saturday. The system wouldn't allow me to modify my stay online, so I called the hotel. They immediately cancelled my entire stay and rebooked at a higher rate. The Wednesday night was around $198 plus taxes. When I questioned the new rate, I was told that there was only $75 difference. I have never received this kind of treatment modifying a reservation. Just removing the one night should not trigger this type of treatment to a loyal IHG customer. Bottom line I cancelled my reservation because of unfair practices and got a reservation a block down the street for $300 less at a hotel with a higher rating.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chateau LeMoyne and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
The hotel has everything we were hoping for in a New Orleans experience. It's a beautiful historic building with exposed brick, charming courtyards, and so much character. It truly feels like New Orleans rather than just another hotel.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Everyone we encountered made us feel at home.
The location was perfect. We were able to spend our days exploring the French Quarter on foot, and it was easy to return to the hotel whenever we needed a break from the July heat. One unexpected highlight was relaxing in our room and getting to watch a second line pass right outside our window. It's a memory we will never forget!
As someone who loves history, I also appreciated staying in a building with such a fascinating past. It only added to the unique experience.
Most importantly, this trip gave me the opportunity to introduce my two sons to New Orleans for the first time. Watching them fall in love with the city while staying at such an authentic, historic hotel made the experience even more special.
If you're looking for a hotel with charm, history, an excellent location, and genuinely kind staff, Chateau LeMoyne is a fantastic choice. We can't wait to come back.
