FUN, Enjoyable, Comfortable and exactly what I needed.
Pros:

The cafe downstairs was amazing, best coffee I have had in a long time at a hotel Cafe. Frood was great, the location is really cool and you feel like you are amongst it all. Easy to get around, lots of uber/taxi available in the area. The room was really cool, very different. Staff were great and very polite and lovely. Rooftop bar was an absolute VIBE, and what a view. The beds were very comfortable, facilities were great. Would absolutely stay again.

Cons:

The only things was there was a little outside noise from Fallons in our room. Other than that, my stay was amazing.

Cons:

Considering this is a 5 star hotel and not very old, we were disappointed that stone surfaces both in the bathroom and coffee table top were badly stained. Grout on the bathroom floor needed a good clean.

Pros:

The location and the river view from our room. The food in the restaurant on site was delicious and service was fabulous.

Cons:

The man at the check in desk whose attitude every day we were there ranged from disinterest and annoyance when asked questions etc.

Pros:

A+ for position and view. Bed was so comfortable. Staff were more than accommodating.

Cons:

Towels were quite small and scratchy. We had to ask for our room to be vacuumed as the previous guest had left nail clippings on the floor. 😳

Perfect location for a long weekend getaway in Brisbane
Pros:

Location, view, breakfast, having a safe in the room, the robes, the aesthetics, the size of bed.

Great place just not a fan of our art in the room
Pros:

I liked this hotel. It has a moody vibe, fantastic location next to Felon's and other eateries. Easy walk along the river to the city. We had one night here and it was good. Bed very comfy. We had a nature wall room which was kinda cool.
So my only qualms were - while the art is very cool I was disappointed that we'd been appointed the Heath Ledger room, with honestly kind of spooky artwork - him as the Joker and also a really large portrait of him looking kind of... troubled.
It's not a great mood when you're trying to have a holiday.
I tried to ignore it but later on when I returned to the room late at night, it really creeped me out. I wish I had asked for a different room but I didn't want to be difficult.
I think the hotel should consider keeping the Heath Ledger art to the foyer only and restyling any rooms that feature this art. My husband said it was a dealbreaker and he wouldn't want to return. But I liked the place enough that I will ask for a 'safe art' room next time!
