Was great for a birthday celebration with all the bars and restaurants at your feet
Pros:

Great location, loved the rooftop bar. Mews was fab for breakfast, loved it wasn’t buffet style.

Cons:

Staff at reception were a bit green. We didn’t get a call to say our room was ready, luggage wasn’t delivered to room as requested. Our credit card was charged twice for holding deposit. Our room wasn’t serviced 2 days in a row. One was my mistake as didn’t read card correctly. Lots of kids around, would be nice if pool was adults only being such a small pool. Rooms are very dark and hard to navigate lighting. Nice that hotel doesn’t want to provide plastic but not getting any water to drink isn’t ideal. At least have a filtered water machine we could use.

Good location but the cons outweighed the positives unfortunately
Pros:

Comfy bed, friendly reception staff, good location

Cons:

Having to get water on a different floor only level 1 and 3 when we were staying on level 4 was very annoying and given the price paid was not great. The nature view room was just a cliff and dead trees/sticks and rubbish. The breakfast we paid for with our room but wasn’t worth the cost also inconsistent for example one day I got two pieces of toast with my avocado, the next day with the same menu item, only 1 piece. Also stingy sizes for $30 per person per day for example scrambled eggs on toast with no sides included in the price or a small granola bowl. The toilet smelt like sewerage and the bathroom boiling hot didn’t help- asked for air freshener and was never provided any. The pool could do with more lounges, could never get a free bed as people get there so early. In a large hotel having only 10 sunbeds isn’t great. Overall felt like it was just not worth the price per night.

Beautiful rooms in an amazing location!
Pros:

The rooms were beautifully presented and the bed was super comfortable. Room service was fantastic and the property itself is in a brilliant location with great views over Howard Smith Wharves.

Cons:

The pool area at the property is underwhelming as it is located immediately beside a rooftop bar where people are dressed up so it’s not very conducive for lounging by the pool in your togs. It was a bit disappointing as we had planned to spend some time up here but then felt awkward in doing so.

Way better options for less… ridiculous prices for nothing.
Pros:

The marketing is great that’s all. The staffs are also amazing! But the people he photos obviously supersedes the actual reality.

Cons:

Overly expensive for nothing! How can you not have hot water and not announce to visitors knowing there’s an ongoing issue.

The Avo on toast was lovely.

Cons:

No simple items on the menu like just toast with spread or banana bread - simple food that's not too big in size and price. different bread options would be good - not everyone wants tough sour dough bread - mixed grain bread would have been nice.

Pros:

Location is goood and Bed comfy BUT

Cons:

So many photos on the walls, love animal or scenery in the bedroom but not a fan of 3 extremely large Heath Ledger photos staring at me when I’m trying to have moment with my own man !!! Feels terrible and turn off !!! Find better location to hang those like lobby or outside of the room but they shouldn’t be in the room
