Categories

Cleanliness
8.5
Generally clean facilities and rooms were praised, but multiple mentions of dirty carpets, windows and areas needing repainting/maintenance lower this score slightly.
Service
9.6
Staff repeatedly described as warm, friendly, accommodating and A+++; front desk handled emergencies well. Minor service slowdowns at the café noted but overall service is a strong positive.
Location
9.7
Frequent praise for scenic Taal Lake views and a peaceful, tucked-away setting — a standout feature mentioned across reviews.
Room Quality
9.2
Rooms described as large, cozy and comfortable with complete amenities and good views; minor maintenance/cleaning comments temper the score slightly.
Amenities
8.9
Heated pools (including infinity/heated pool), water dispensers and recreational options (pickleball) are strong; missing/limited spa facilities, infrequent shuttle times and wine availability reduce this score.
Value for Money
9
Many repeat bookings and comments that the buffet and overall offering are worth it; minor food/service issues noted but do not appear to undermine perceived value.
Food and Beverage
8.6
Food receives positive mentions (buffet breadth, pumpkin soup, good café items) but isolated complaints about cold breakfast items, understaffed café service and some dishes (pastas) need improvement.
Overall Experience
8.5
Many guests described stays as memorable, rejuvenating and would return; however recurring minor maintenance, occasional service slowdowns at F&B and limited amenities slightly temper the overall rating.

Just ok, for the experience.
Pros:

Staff are nice and the view

Cons:

The breakfast cost is pricey, the pillows are hard, the shuttle is only available in the afternoon, one of the rooms I booked doesn't have smart TV and it is hard to connect in Netflix, Prime, etc.

I think it's okay for the first time to experience but I am not sure if I would come again.
Pros:

I liked the pool and the balcony

Cons:

I did not like how it did not have anywhere to walk around, like with strollers.

Cosy quiet Hotel with a long distance view of the lake but compensated with a good room and comfortable bed
Pros:

Quiet and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city. Large rooms and available water dispenser.

Cons:

Could have operated a spa with steam bath, jacuzzi and sauna (being a five star) free for guests only! Also the shuttle bus could run every hour and not just 4pm 6pm 8pm

It’s limited and not ideal for weekend vacation for us to maximise our time

It will not disappoint you
Pros:

It was a perfect birthday celebration for me
I’ve always wanted a view of the Taal Lake
But couldn’t find the right one til we saw the advertisement
And the stuff are so kind and accommodating
I just wish we were able to get some wines
But we were told wine tasting and selling happens on May
Maybe we’ll get lucky next year when we come back for probably my husband’s birthday September.
it was a very memorable experience for us

Cons:

More attendants by the lower level of the hotel by the wine seller would be nicer or at least someone to answer questions by the bar
