They have a great Spa. Dining options is also good
Great view of Taal volcano and lake.
Buffets are ordinary but desserts are very good.
Enjoyed our stay inspite of the bad weather
Great hotel👍
The hotel is clean and our stay was convenient. The view from our room was breathtaking! Their breakfast buffet was excellent. Front desk would have done a better job by explaining about the amenities. We didnt know that breakfast was included. They also didnt know that the spa was closed during our stay which is unfortunate because my wife and sister wanted to pamper themselves that day. The lobby and hallways smelled bad like there’s mold but Im sure that they’ve already addressed this.
Easy and fast check in and check out
At first it was a bit of a struggle…we had no internet connection, food in service took a bery long time and was cold when it got there but how they corrected the situation was very professional and well handled. The breakfast was great and their food was really good. The facilites was very nice once they moved our room, tge view is spectacular. I totally recommend.
Beautiful area with amazing views. Great service.
We are not satisfied..
1. Pls improve your food at the cafe
2. The temp in the bathroom are so hard to control.
The spectacular view of the volcano and the lake right across your room’s balcony. Excellent staff, very courteous and hospitable. Great amenities and heated pool, enjoyed night swimming. Stay was very relaxing. Highly recommended.
peaceful. relaxing.panoramic view of the surrounding
I like the restaurant and the views. There were a lot of missed opportunities to make this into a great hotel experience. The gym is like a fish bowl people are taking pictures and walking in and out. The room was okay no frills. The air conditioning was on full blast cold for an already cool area. Their store is lacking. There can be tours or experiences taking place here but there is not much. And the sauna, steam room, and hot tub were all not working.
The hotel staff was nice and attentive. The hotel and surroundings are beautiful. They have a small outlet mall at the top of the hill. There are also plenty of places to eat close by. The hotel also providee shuttles every hour to the outlet mall.
The room was spaceous. The food at the cafe was great. The best amenity was the heated pool. Next was the vineyard. The convenience of being nearby restaurants is awesome.
Excellent location w marvelous view, clean room and very good service.
Check-in was chaotic. Published check-in time is 3pm, we got there at 3:30 and yet we still had to wait another hour to be checked in. There were probably 20 other guests crammed together waiting to be checked in and they took more than 5mins each. They said the rooms weren't ready yet but they published that they have a 24hr gap in between guests? We've stayed there twice and the check-in process was bad in both cases.
Their menu for breakfast/restaurant was good but the food was rather cold?
But the place itself is well-maintained and the staff were very attentive. Great location with amazing views. Would still go back, but hopefully they can fix their check-in process and keep their food warm!
The place was great though we had things to do for the duration so we were not able to maximize the entirety of the hotel/resort and its facilities. The staff is as friendly as they come - would greet you always and find a way to help you out.
They have very strict safety measures and would require updated COVID testing done - they have a fairly priced testing facility also for a hassle free experience.
Our room was great though there were some nicks - one of the trays of the fridge was cracked, the shower fixture was also removed (couldn't get the rain shower working therefore :( ).
I had never fonded Tagaytay (for the life of me!) and this was the first time I stayed here for some R&R, but staying here and experiencing Twin Lakes Hotel has me considering this as an option for me and my family soon. :)
Thank you all and stay safe.
The hotel itself is great, clean and well-maintained with phenomenal mountain and lake views.
The check-in experience was terrible though. We arrived around 5pm and they told us that the room was still not ready. There were other guests who were also told the same, and many were quite frustrated for having to wait a long time already.
On our second day, we asked for the room to be made up and were told that they can only replenish the supplies in the room as health-regulations prevent them from cleaning the rooms mid-stay. When we returned 3 hours later, they still have not replenished the supplies so we've had to call again and wait for another hour.
We had a set breakfast on Sunday and a buffet on Monday, not sure why they were different. We've had to wait for 30mins for the set breakfast too, despite a rather standard/compressed menu options.
We understand that housekeeping and food services could be slower than usual (maybe due to a leaner staff or additional precautions due to the pandemic). I just feel that the delays are way too long and that the staff could do better in managing guest expectations and explaining the situation.
Room was great however the staff keeps on coming to our room eventhough we didn't called or requested for anything. Kind of disturbing
It's a beautiful property. Megaworld was able to get a prime lot which gives its occupants a wonderful view. The building was made to look like a castle. On the surface it looks nice but no effort is needed to see that underneath the surface is poor maintenance, upkeep and cleanliness, and service is not good. Walking around the property you'll find beautiful olants but look where the soil is and you'll find a lot of trash....so sad! When you pay for an expensive room here, just think you're paying for exclusivity (and to be away from other Tagaytay tourists) but not for 5-star service and upkeep.
