Two nights pre wedding event in Pitlochry.
Pros:

We can’t say enough good things about our two night stay. Staff were so incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful. We had dinner the first night and wished we could have done the second too but had theatre tickets. Food was 5* both in flavour and presentation. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann the owner over dinner and the chef that evening , Charlie.
Post dinner we sat by the fire where front of house immediately added more firewood.
We also had the pleasure of meeting Angus, Ann’s son who was a funny and helpful young man.
I am thrilled that this is where we started our trip.

Pros:

The only let down was really the bathroom as it is more of a wet room, everything gets wet so if you are sharing the room/bathroom with someone else it is an issue. Plus the tiles that were used in the wet room should have been none slip. It is a lovely hotel, but i don't think the bathroom plan was thought through.

Pros:

This hotel and restaurant is an absolute gem. Every one and staff especially Logan and Shane were amazing. Hygge all around from the grounds, the room and the manor house. The property is beautiful.

The issue I had was that hotels.com charged me a 100 pounds more than the hotel said my bill was but I had already paid on line. I won’t be using hotels.com again.

Carefullly decorated rooms. The Manse is in a beautiful location with access to walking hikes throughout, including the Blair Castle. Breakfast was very good and in a beautiful glass room.
Our room was one of several in a row in the “enclosed garden”, named after tree species. Although very pretty, I’m not a fan of the type of linear structure, and felt the walls were a bit thin as we could hear our neighbors easily (snoring, talking) We were exhausted at the end of the day and it didn’t interfere with our sleep.

Idilic Retreat in Cairngorm National Park

We stayed for 1 night DB&B mid-week having seen the hotel on a Scottish TV programme. We were not disappointed, the setting is lovely, all the staff and family very friendly so it almost feels like home from home. There is an extensive gin and whisky drinks selection, and the food is simply wonderful. Good choice and beautifully prepared by their renowned chef. We enjoy fine dining regularly and we will be back with foodie friends. We had chosen to stay in a Garden Room rather than in the main building and it was immaculate. Imaginatively decorated like the rest of the hotel in a contemporary Scottish style without the need for yards of tartan yet still very in keeping. We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit outside our room in the evening taking in the tranquillity and view. We will be back!

Scottish luxury boutique at its best

Excellent hotel. Very Scottish. Luxury hotel, products and service is so friendly. Food is excellent. Surroundings is so beautiful and quiet. A great location for exploring, walking, shopping at House of Bruar or booking the segways at Blair Atholl. Magical!

Spent an incredible evening at the Old Manse of Blair. The owner was attentive and went out of his way to make my girlfriend and me feel welcome. Dinner was fantastic and the service from the waitress was top notch. The "design room" was a bit small but very comfy bed and modern design.

Lovely relaxing stay
Pros:

We recently stayed here for the first time and it won’t be our last! The staff were so lovely and attentive, they made us feel so welcome and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were both absolutely delicious. The building itself is so beautiful and we could easily have sat by the fire all day and night. I’d highly recommend a visit here.
