One of my fav places to stay in Santa Barbara. Love the pond, ducks and atmosphere. Heated pool and good breakfast buffet.
Breakfast was good. It was the same items every day though. The heated pool was the best heated pool we've been in. It was actually warm and perfect in the cool mornings and nights
Private but close to everything
Nice garden
Wyndham use text messages do the checking prior our arraval was bad experience to us, we got intrupted serval times during our travel/vacation, Hotel stay is NOT Airlane Check-In! I will avoid Wyndhm hotels unless it change this bad exerience (Shift more work/steps from hotel staff to customer)
Roomy for my family, very comfortable, would recommend
We couldn’t open sofa bed per facility request. Need to have fixed furniture.
The Lobby staff was very nice! The bed comfy. The pond was beautiful the pool area was pretty and obviously cared for. Proximity to freeway was nice.
Be prepared - It is old. The bathroom has old style countertops/low toilets. Old carpet smells in hallways. Uneven floors. A gentle comment - 1st impression - ask staff to iron their blouses very wrinkled looks unkempt... ;) For over $400 it was not what I expected. Just expensive for an old room.
Breakfast was excellent.
Pond with ducks was a nice touch.
Getting a couple of water bottles in the room would have been helpful.
Excellent customer service and good hideaway bed
Beautiful garden in the hotel with a pool.
comfortable beds, pond with plants and ducks
lobby smelled smoky. carpet felt a bit musty, breakfast could be upgraded with better options ie: more fruit, not fake eggs,
Staff was very helpful and polite
Breakfast was the same everyday. A slight variation in hot breakfast options would be nice but the lady running the breakfast was extremely sweet and hardworking
Beauty price kind desk
Pleasantly happy
Scenery outside was beautiful. My son enjoyed the pool!
It was close to a gas station and to where I needed to be in the morning.
The towels in my room were very dirty with yellow stains, and looked like they hadn't been washed in some time. I did not use the pool or go to breakfast, as I did not trust the cleanliness of the kitchen based on the room. The other guests were extremely loud, partying at the pool and blasting music until the early morning hours. When they finally went inside, they were dropping ice buckets and screaming in the hallway. When I brought it up to the front desk in the morning, all the guy said was, "Well, we get loud here." For the condition of the room and location, no one should be loud there. I woke up for a work event exhausted. I once stayed at a hotel that caught fire, and yet this is the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.
