Es war eine Möglichkeit zum Übernachten und gut frühstücken.
Pros:

Die Lage ist bestens direkt am Fuße der Festung Königstein.
Beim Frühstück hat es an nichts gefehlt. Hier wurde in den letzten Jahren investiert.

Cons:

Das Bett war leider wirklich nicht bequem.
Das Personal hat man nicht häufig gesehen, eigentlich nur beim Einchecken und Bezahlen.
Auf allgemeinen Smalltalk wird hier eher verzichtet.
Der Schotterparkplatz hinter dem Gasthaus hat extra gekostet.
Einen noch ausgeschilderten Spa-Bereich gibt es schon lange nicht mehr

Pros:

Die Inhaber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Es war sehr kalt in der Passion . Die Zimmer müssten mal ein Abdate bekommen Ist nicht wirklich gemütlich eingerichtet.
Preis Leistung passte nicht .
Die Angestellte für das Frühstück war leider nicht auf Zack .Man musste sehr lange warten ehe was aufgefüllt wurde und das auch erst nach mehreren Aufforderungen .Cafetassen waren alle aber die hat sie bis 10 Uhr immer noch nicht geschafft aufzufüllen .Da hatte sie ja Glück das ihre Schicht vorbei wa .

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und die Inhaberin war sehr bemüht . Die Burg ist super zu erreichen . Für einen Kurzurlaub

Die Lage ist hervorragend wenn man zur Burg möchte .

Cons:

Das Badezimmer muss renoviert werden (Kaputtes Waschbecken, defekter Seifenspender etc.) Das Frühstück war leider ein Reinfall . Die junge Dame machte lieber Pause als nach dem rechten zu schauen . Am ersten Tag war wurde weder Obst oder Gemüse angeboten, das Rührei und der Speck waren alle . Brot gab es erst auf Nachfrage ,welches dann auch noch gefroren war . Naja und Eisbein mit Klößen da muss der Koch nochmal nachdenken. Auch die Entenbrust verdient eine knusprige Haut …Schade.
Was gut ist, man kann im Nebenraum ungestört Karten spielen und solange verharren bis man möchte .

Perfekt für kurze Wege zur Festung Königstein
Pros:

Für unser Anliegen, Tanzauftritte auf der Festung Königstein, war diese Unterkunft perfekt.
Man erfüllte auch unsere Wünsche für gemeinsame Abendessen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut.

Authentic German hospitality, great food, interesting location and a very comfortable room and bed at the end of the day
Pros:

Luxurious room overlooking the castle, and a restaurant/ inn feel at the front, where with the other guests we could drink and eat, and enjoy the quiet evenings after all the castle visitors have headed off. Very extensive breakfast buffet in the morning to fuel you for the days adventure. The hotel is also part of the scheme where you get a pass for local buses, trains and ferries. It’s brilliant- absolutely the best way to explore the region and cut down on traffic. Evening BBQ on second night may have been a one-off - it was certainly a great way to end another days walking!
