Very clean
The location is fantastic, rustic/ beautiful decor and amazing rooftop view.
The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Forum Rome. The location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Marco for his outstanding hospitality during check-in—he made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

The location of Hotel Forum is central yet away from the crowds. All the staff, from front desk, to restaurant, rooftop bar and housekeeping are warm and friendly. The view is fantastic, a great place to catch the sunset.
LOCATION. decor of hotel and room (historic theme), rooftop bar and top floor breakfast. Unique view from rooftop bar. Breakfast was good with varied selection. Was able to walk to a LOT of historic sites from this hotel and there are a lot of restaurants very close by (within two blocks). Bathroom good size along with shower. Room was quiet, though the room we stayed in was not right on the street.
AC in room seemed to struggle against the late July heat, and mysteriously shut off twice in the middle of the night so woke up hot and sweaty and had to turn it back on. If you go in the summer recommend using the dark curtains to block the heat during mid day. One of the two elevators was broken over the weekend.
Staff is wonderful and the room is amazing … so quiet
Location and history
No complaints
Friendly staff. Good breakfasts. Lovely lounge. Great old school historic hotel. Old lifts and wooden paneling wonderful.
A lovely happy stay.
Room and bathroom rather small, but it is Europe.
No negatives.
Location
Small rooms, extra small bathrooms aircon hopeless very tired hotel
My son and I spent 4 nights in Rome and picked this hotel for its prime location. It’s within walking distance to most of the historical attractions with huge choice of bars and restaurants close by. We ate in the restaurant which was pricey but food and service were excellent. The American rooftop bar is a great way to unwind after spending hours walking in the heat. Yes it’s premium pricing (draft beer 14e a pint and a glass of wind 16e) but the views out over the Fourm late afternoon are spectacular and something worth pushing the boat out for. We had a suite with a king bed and a pull out sofa bed. The windows opened over the street and looked at the room opposite so no view - but we weren’t in the room much and when we were we had the shutters closed to keep the heat out. AC was functional and we had 2 bathrooms with powerful showers. Decor was traditional and a bit tired in some places but still charming. All staff were pleasant. Overall - you are paying for the location and view but would definitely recommend and will rebook when we return to Rome next time.
Incredible central location, charming old building with beautiful rooftop bar.
