Awesome place to stay.
Pros:

I simply loved it. It's the best place to stay in Uluwatu. The beds are so comfy, the rooms are clean and welcoming. The staff cleans your room every day if you want it. And their restaurant is amazing. We eat almost the entire stay at their restaurant. The plate sizes are just perfect, there is diversity and the meals are delicious.
I would definitely recommend this place, you must try it.

Sweet boutique hotel with bad customer experience
Pros:

The Hotel is a Boutique Hotel and generally really nice and sweet. Especially its location is good with cute, clean rooms and a comfortable bed. Breakfast is a bit weird as yes they have all day à la carte but the options you can choose are a bit limited and if you want something very basic such as scrambled eggs you need to pay extra.

Cons:

I wanted to extend my stay for 1 more night. It was already confirmed and set up and then the next morning the texted me saying the room is not free they made a mistake and I need to get out. This was very annoying as I had to find another place on short notice and my plans for the day have been crushed. They could have easily made this less painful in like offering me to drive to my next destination or releasing my restaurant bill (it was only like 5€), so very small gestures that could have really made the overall impression much better. Overall they had no interest at all in providing anything additional as a goodie to compensate for their mistake

Exzellentes, kleines Hotel in Nähe des Uluwatu-Tempels
Pros:

The Elementum ist ein kleines, großartiges Hotel mit aufmerksamem Personal und ausgezeichneter Küche.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können die Anlage wärmstens empfehlen.

Cons:

Müssten wir etwas bemängeln wäre es die Lage…hier ist man am Besten bei einem einheimischen Fahrer aufgehoben, da das zu Fuß gehen sehr Abenteuer ist.

Le restaurant, le cadre avec la vue du restaurant sur la piscine et le spa. La disponibilité du personnel. Petit déjeuner très copieux et super cocktail !

Oase der Ruhe mit ausgezeichneter Küche
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liegen in Einzelbungalows mit Pool- und Meerblick. Wir hatten den hinteren Bungalow Nr. 2, bei dem man nur aufs Meer blickt und super Ruhe hat. Das Restaurant ist außergewöhnlich. Die Küche ist hervorragend, der Service zuvorkommend und stets freundlich. Und: Es gibt keine festen Frühstückszeiten, man kann den ganzen Tag lang frühstücken. Auch den Salat kann man genießen, weil er in Flaschenwasser gewaschen wird. Bester Strand: Dreamland Beach.

Cons:

Um irgendwohin zu kommen, braucht man einen Scooter oder einen Fahrer. Zu Fuß laufen ist zu weit. Dementsprechend ist es auf den Straßen sehr voll. Das ist aber kein Spezifikum von The Elementum, sondern gilt für ganz Uluwatu.

Bel potenziale, poca cura

La struttura è a Uluwatu in una buona posizione, con una bellissima distribuzione delle camere e uno staff molto gentile e disponibile.
Il punto di forza sicuramente il ristorante interno che deve pranzi colazione e cene di alta qualità e la possibilità di farseli portare direttamente in camera.

Cons:

Abbiamo avuto diversi problemi con la struttura:
- la suite sopra al ristorante dal secondo giorno ha iniziato a emanare un potente odore di scarico fognario, problema che non si è risolto nonostante l’intervento dello staff per un problema alle tubature
- la doccia perdeva acqua nel pavimento della suite
- abbiamo aperto un contenzioso con la struttura perché l’acqua della piscina, che non è adeguatamente trattata, ha tinto i nostri costumi di verde in maniera irrecuperabile, 150€ di costumi nuovi completamente rovinati e che abbiamo ovviamente dovuto buttare via perché nonostante diversi lavaggi e interventi anche a casa, non sono mai stati ripristinati. In merito al problema abbiamo inizialmente chiesto aiuto allo staff che ci ha detto “è normale” e che avremo potuto lavarli con un detergente (ne abbiamo acquistati 3 il giorno stesso a nostre spese).
Al momento della nostra partenza siamo stati interrogati dallo staff sul perché avessimo chiesto assistenza a Booking per il problema, ma al di là di qualche messaggio whatsapp per cercare di tamponare il problema non è stato fatto assolutamente nulla.
Alla richiesta di compensazione per il danno subito la Manager ha rifiutato la nostra richiesta e dopo 3 settimane dal nostro rientro siamo in attesa di supporto da parte di Booking che interverrà si spera con le dovute azioni a tutela dei propri clienti. Un vero peccato perchè questa mancanza ha completamente rovinato la nostra permanenza.
