Important information:

When booking 11 rooms or more, guests will need to contact the hotel for group sales department. Guests can't book multiple reservations with the threshold of 10 rooms.

The Ramsey Hotel & Convention Center is a Small Dog Friendly Hotel that welcomes small dogs up to 40 lbs. Small dogs are charged at $40.00 plus tax NIGHTLY, per small dog and the guest is charged an additional and refundable $250.00 incidental deposit, per reservation. A maximum of two small dogs per guest room is permitted. Strictly no other kind of pet is permitted on property. Guests that do NOT register their small dog(s) are subject to a $500.00 plus tax penalty.

Small dogs may be left unattended in the guest room, however, no stayover service will be completed by housekeeping if there is/are dog(s) in the guest’s room.

Moreover, if the small dog(s) become(s) a noise disturbance to other guests, or the Ramsey Hotel & Convention Center management; front desk; or any Ramsey Hotel & Convention Center employe, receives other small dog-related complaints from the guest’s room, the guest must return to take their small dog(s) with them.

Further, the Ramsey Hotel will NOT release the $250 incidental deposit in the event of small dog(s) damaging the room and its contents by, but not limited to, urinating; fouling; hair-shedding etc and/or causing a noise disturbance that is not attended to by the guest(s). Small dogs are permitted in specific rooms only; small dog-friendly rooms can be requested by contacting the Ramsey Hotel's direct line (865) 428-2700. Small dogs are NOT permitted in the breakfast/lounge area and in the pool area beyond the pool gate, per public health laws.

Registered service animals, that are dogs, are welcome in accordance with current ADA standards. Emotional support animals, that are dogs, are NOT considered to be service animals by the ADA, or the Ramsey Hotel & Convention Center . A guest, whose registered service animal is a noise disturbance or causes damage to the room and its contents as outlined above, will also be subject to the same $250.00 cleaning fee. Upgrading of select guestrooms will be carried out from January 19th, 2026 to March 11th, 2026. Renovation work is taking place from 8am to 10pm.

The bar/lounge will have a seasonal closure between February 27th, 2026 and March 18th, 2026.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay.

Good, will stay again.
Pros:

Good location and they are dog friendly. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Missing bath towels and there was no body wash. Lucky we bought our own.

The breakfast was the best part but they didn't offer many vegan or low carb options. The guy at check out was super nice and so weee the breakfast people

Cons:

There was supposed to be a movie every night and there wasn't. The pool was very small for the size of the hotel and the hot tub was constantly over run by small kids. There was a lot of noise in this hotel in the late hours while you were trying to sleep.

Pros:

Property was in the middle of town ! Everyone was so friendly and the rooms was nice and clean

Cons:

The first thing I noticed when I walk in room is a smell of a dog , the room was clean however I can tell a dog had been there and also the bed was hard other than that it was a nice stay

We have stayed at this hotel many times and have always had a great experience, which is why we chose to come back again. Unfortunately, this visit was very different.

When we first got into our room, the bed was extremely hard. Normally the beds here are comfortable and plush, which is honestly one of the main reasons we choose to stay here. This time it felt like we were laying directly on a box spring. Considering the amount we paid for the room, plus the $40 per day pet fee (which we understood and expected), we were really disappointed.

We went down to the front desk to ask if it was possible to switch rooms or if there was anything they could place on the bed to make it more comfortable. We were told the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do. We were also told that because we booked through a third party, we would have to contact them if we had issues. That response was frustrating, especially since we stay here often.

Later we were told they could switch our room the next day and that we would be first priority in the morning. However, that did not happen. We were later told it was housekeeping’s fault, but when we spoke with housekeeping they had no idea about the situation. They were clearly working very hard and were still cleaning rooms late into the evening, so it felt wrong that they were blamed.

Once housekeeping became aware of the situation, they took care of it right away and we were finally able to move rooms around 1:00 PM. Unfortunately, that delay put us behind and cut into our plans for the day. We were told we could leave and staff would move our belongings, but I declined because my dog has anxiety and that would have upset her. So we waited.

During that conversation, we were also told that dogs were not allowed to be left unattended in the room. I mentioned that we stay here often and have been told otherwise before. The employee later apologized and explained he was new and still learning.

The stay was excellent.
Pros:

Everything was excellent and exceeded my expectations once I arrived. Very comfortable room no complaints at all. Will definitely be staying at the hotel again.
