Important information:

When booking 11 rooms or more, guests will need to contact the hotel for group sales department. Guests can't book multiple reservations with the threshold of 10 rooms.

The Ramsey Hotel & Convention Center is a Small Dog Friendly Hotel that welcomes small dogs up to 40 lbs. Small dogs are charged at $40.00 plus tax NIGHTLY, per small dog and the guest is charged an additional and refundable $250.00 incidental deposit, per reservation. A maximum of two small dogs per guest room is permitted. Strictly no other kind of pet is permitted on property. Guests that do NOT register their small dog(s) are subject to a $500.00 plus tax penalty.

Small dogs may be left unattended in the guest room, however, no stayover service will be completed by housekeeping if there is/are dog(s) in the guest’s room.

Moreover, if the small dog(s) become(s) a noise disturbance to other guests, or the Ramsey Hotel & Convention Center management; front desk; or any Ramsey Hotel & Convention Center employee, receives other small dog-related complaints from the guest’s room, the guest must return to take their small dog(s) with them.

Further, the Ramsey Hotel will NOT release the $250 incidental deposit in the event of small dog(s) damaging the room and its contents by, but not limited to, urinating; fouling; hair-shedding etc and/or causing a noise disturbance that is not attended to by the guest(s). Small dogs are permitted in specific rooms only; small dog-friendly rooms can be requested by contacting the Ramsey Hotel's direct line (865) 428-2700. Small dogs are NOT permitted in the breakfast/lounge area and in the pool area beyond the pool gate, per public health laws.

Registered service animals, that are dogs, are welcome in accordance with current ADA standards. Emotional support animals, that are dogs, are NOT considered to be service animals by the ADA, or the Ramsey Hotel & Convention Center . A guest, whose registered service animal is a noise disturbance or causes damage to the room and its contents as outlined above, will also be subject to the same $250.00 cleaning fee. Very uncomfortable
Pros:

The staff were very nice and helpful to their best ability. The staff was exceptional

Cons:

During my family entire stay the pool and hot tub was off limits due to the area being so congested with people. The pool area and hot tub is extremely small we were so disappointed. The pictures online gave us false hope . The carpets are dingy in appearance and hotel smells weird . The lighting is very dim even in the rooms .

We had four hotel rooms. All were relaxing. Great time with family. Great location. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

It was decent to stay there mostly the room.
Pros:

The rooms were clean, the beds are comfortable, they have good breakfast.

Cons:

The pool area was nasty especially the bathroom it smelled horrible and toilet paper all over the floor. The pool freezing cold. And up on the floor we stayed on there was trash all over the floor due to the lazy customers left their trash.

The location of the hotel

Cons:

Pool - the pool was much smaller than photos depict and the water was not warm enough to be considered an indoor heated pool.
Breakfast - food was good, but every morning they were out of something whether it be waffle mix, drinks, or food from the buffet. As well, when advising staff that it was running low, they would just walk away and roll their eyes.
Room - our reservation included a free crib with our stay. Upon request of the crib the received a mini pack n play. A pac n play and a crib are 2 completely different items. If I was aware I would be receiving a pac n play I would have brought my own so my child had a comfortable mattress to sleep on.

Decent hotel.
Pros:

Hotel was in a good location to attractions. Very good self serve breakfast. Staff very friendly.

Cons:

Beds sagged. Stayed four nights and housekeeping swept floor once. Only replaced towels and picked up garbage. Didn’t touch bathroom. Bed barely half made up. Carpeted hallway never appeared vacuumed. Grandson said pool water cloudy first evening while swimming. During that same night he awoke with bilateral earache and had to take him to urgent care.

Just for thr price it was as good as cheaper places. I expected much more for the price! Like the bar be open would have been great! Had a big roach in our room

Pros:

We like the location, the staff were very nice. They had movies and popcorn for the kiddos. The shower pressure was amazing after a long car ride.

Cons:

The pool looked larger in the photos and it could use a go cleaning and some up keep. The stair hand rails are very wiggle and there is a lot of rust.

We loved this hotel and will definitely consider staying again when we visit the Pigeon Forge area in the future!
Pros:

I love that this hotel is centrally located in Pigeon Forge! The staff was kind and accommodating!! The pool being 24 hours is an awesome feature after a long day of activities to be able to whind down and swim with your family!

Cons:

I would have liked different breakfast options different days - not the same thing every day. It was a delicious breakfast but nevertheless bagels muffins pancakes would have been a nice alternative.
