Broken coffee maker, one cup and stops working. No coffee cups or coffee for the second night. No coat hangers in room, no coat hangers on request either.

Unfortunately there were bugs inside the tub. Like all over. We're not squeamish. But I would guess others are. In any case we only stayed one night so we elected not to use the shower.

Pros:

This hotel caught my eye from the street. Very well maintained. Customer service was excellent and the room was super clean, beds were ver comfortable and all very affordable. I wish I had more time to stay to enjoy the pool.

Good base whilst visiting Pasadena!
Pros:

We stayed 3 nights at the Hyland, which was our whilst attending the two Oasis shows at the Rose Bowl. Good transport into Downtown Pasadena. Free parking was a huge bonus. Recommended!

The room was clean overall. Nothing outstanding. Staff was great. The AC worked well. Basic non smart tv in room. Shower only /no bath. The pool sucked. It was small and looked unkept. The hottube was ice cold and full of dead insects. But... parking was included. Walgreens next door. You can walk to restraunts and other shops. It was very safe to be out late and walk around. The staff were awesome and kind. Same with house keeping.

This was a 2 day stay where we went to a concert and universal studios amd just wanted a safe clean, quiet place to rest ..the check in was simple and quick and the service was friendly the rooms were clean and comfy with a couch and a bed i will be coming back just to explore pasadena!
