Super fijne lodge met een heel mooi uitzicht over de stad. De eigenaars zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en geven je een warm welkom. Ook is de locatie fantastisch. Het is een hele rustige plek, buiten de drukte van de stad, maar wel dichtbij de luchthaven.
This lodge in the hills above Quito gave me a peaceful retreat after a busy day of travel and errands. Lieing in the hammock under the trees was relaxing. A breeze coming across the land. The family who hosts were so kind and helpful. They arranged for me to have food that fit my specific dietary needs. He got up early to open the gate for me to meet my share ride. Lovely all around.
The hosts were wonderful. Marcelo picked us up from the airport and took us back early the next day. The lodge was beautiful, including the views from the city. Our children were able to run around the grounds and play with the dogs, which was great after hours in an airplane. Marcelo coordinated ordering dinner from a local restaurant, and we had some excellent wine from his wine cellar. We just stayed one night, and it might not have been the closest option for one night between flights, but it was well worth it. It would make an incredible and peaceful stay for longer periods.

The room was amazing with comfortable beds and the best view! Marcelo and his kids are very friendly and helpful. Marcelo even took us to an ATM to get cash. The garden full of humming birds is wonderful. The dogs are sweet and funny. I liked the hike up the old volcano.

This was a last minute reservation I made due to a change of plans. I was looking for a place which had electricity (during a time of energy crisis in Ecuador!) in the vicinity of the Cumbaya area. There aren't many options. This is a nice family-run place with a beautiful patio (with hummingbirds) and a nice view of Quito. The accommodations are good for a short stay, and the staff is very kind and helpful.
It is a bit far up the mountain, but getting a taxi was not a problem. The rooms don't have heating so it can get a bit chilly. The internet doesn't work very well.

Very beautiful lodge. Amazing location, great views and amazing owners who are super helpful and friendly. Its up on the mountain so very fresh air and quiet, but still only a short drive from the nearest Mall and other shopping areas. We will definitely come back :) thanks for everything!
This lodge is run by a happy family. The husband speaks good English. They picked me up at my airport hotel for an extra charge and setup safe taxi service with a local man that they knew and trusted to take me to the hot springs, gym etc. There is an excellent wine cellar here and a good restaurant for take out nearby.
You cannot walk anywhere from here...but it is a beautiful home and land. So if you come here you will either rent a car or pay for taxi.
