Amazing stay!

My stay was amazing! Beginning with a warm welcome by Front Desk Agents Tajuna and Tamiyah, to the great service while having dinner, and the amazing service and attention to detail from Debbie. My entire experience was amazing.

Last weekend we came for the baseball tournament. It was so nice relaxing in the pool after long games. Stephen on the valet team was excellent in what he does !

Pros:

Worst Hyatt hotel. No idea how this is a “Regency” proper. Hyatt should be embarrassed. Bad check-in experience, bad rooms, bad service. First, rooms weren’t ready on time. Then, they charge $23 for self parking but the garge is too low and small so you have to pay for valet or walk from the mall. If you do self park, be ready for the immediate weed smell that constantly permeates the entire property including garage, lobby bathrooms, hallways and elevators. There is no concierge so for recommendations you get are chain restaurants like Longhorn. The rooms are poorly maintened. Zero water pressure in showers. Mold and mildew smells everywhere. Maid service is every other day and if you miss your time, tough luck they leave early. Never heard of maid service not being daily at a standard hotel. The pool is small and was cloudy our entire stay. Overall, strongly do not recommend!!!

Pros:

Hotel attached to a rundown mall. Outdated. Overall did not feel clean. No breakfast offered. Parking fee daily for self parking & valet expensive. Staff nice, just very few around.

Contrary Experience
Pros:

My experience with hotel staffing and inter room related issues was great , however my issues are w the lobby ,elevator, and handicapped parking areas were filthy. The lobby furniture and carpet under lobby furniture, were stained ,sticky, and soiled. The adjacent parking lot as u exit building elevator halllway had cigarette butts everywhere near door area ( handicapped parking spots) where i parked. Id step on them and they'd stick to my shoes, and get in my car. The lot needs blow/ vacuuming and pressure washing . I found the filthy conditions contray to the Hyatt Regency reputation! Please address becuz ill be back for next year's tournament/ conference.
