Night stay was good and room was calm, no disturbances. Most of the day time we spent outside only.
Pros:

Location is nearby to yhe city and easy access to most of the tourist spots. Walkable city area for dinner and shopping. Rooms are spacious and clean. Wash/Toilet are clean but there was notissue paper roll at toilet. Supplied break fast was not upto the mark hence next day we preffered breakfast in city area having plenty of good hotels. Parking space is only for 3 vehicles we got the parking slot since our visit was not in week ends.

Cons:

Drinking water supply to the rooms not available. There is no provision of coffe/tea sachets and hot water kettle in the room. Even wsh rooms are clean we found cockroches inside bath room area during night. There was no towel hanger inside wash room hence we didn't had other option, we used door latch for hanging clothes and towels. TV remote was not functional. Rooms are below ground level no lift available hence may difficult for aged people.

Cons:

The room that I was given, did not have ventilation. The room that was allotted initially was parallel to the reception lobby and opening the window meant no privacy. I was then allotted another room in the same floor, however it did not have ventilation at all. A tiny window that did not do much. Lot of mosquitoes in the floor too.
I appreciate the front desk for trying their best to ensure my stay was comfortable. Alas, it wasn't.

Best Hotel to Stay with Family
Pros:

I stayed at Itsy Hotel Igloo, Madikeri with my family, and our experience was absolutely wonderful! The room we were given was very spacious, perfectly suited for a family stay — it had four double beds, which made it extremely comfortable for all of us.

The hotel staff were exceptionally polite and very cooperative throughout our stay. Both the morning and night shift staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — they assisted us with several things and always greeted us with a smile. Their warm hospitality truly made our stay memorable.

Overall, the hotel had a pleasant and homely atmosphere, making our Coorg trip even more special. I would definitely recommend Itsy Hotel Igloo to anyone visiting Madikeri — it’s a great place for families looking for comfort, space, and genuine hospitality! 🌿🏡
