The accommodations were great but the Marriott front desk staff was far from acceptable.
Pros:

It was clean & comfortable. The hot tub was clean & enjoyable. The Starbucks staff were excellent.

Cons:

We were supposed to be given breakfast with our stay but upon check-in the staff said it was not included for us. Also, checkin was anything but smooth. She took nearly a half an hour just to find my booking.com reservation in her computer and just kept saying I’d have to pay Marriott directly right then & there and seek a refund from booking.com. I refused & repeatedly showed her my booking.com confirmation number as well as the booking.com email confirmation. After 1/2 an hour of that and my repeated requests for her to get a manager for me to speak with, she went in the back office and “magically “ found my booking.com reservation. It was quite the frustrating & exhausting experience.

I have stayed at Marriott’s for several decades and I have never had such an unfriendly experience that quite frankly was borderline rude.

Generally very pleasant.
Pros:

Close to family, good parking, in house Hertz office.

The staff was very competent, very nice, and worked to solve any problems we encountered. They used their computer to help us when we realized there was no business center, and found us spoons to serve ice cream!

Cons:

It is sprawling and there is a LOT of walking involved. In future would request room closer to elevators. Hard to find the on/off switches for lamps!! Took two days to find one!!Cord for hairdryer VERY short; quite hard to use. Not clear how to use in room coffee (carafe appeared to be missing—single serve needs directions). Wi-fi was iffy (could have been wind related). Signs indicated there was a “business center” but it has been eliminated!

Memorable, but not one of my favorites!
Pros:

The room was nice.

Cons:

Waited in bar area to receive our food that took way too long. Found out the chef went to take a call and didn't come back for a long time and we had to keep waiting. They gave us free desserts but it still was not great for him to do. We had a long day, plus I had a bad reaction to the fragrance in the lobby. They didn't have Benadryl in their supplies so we had to rush to a store to get some. I had hives all over my body and felt awwful!

Visiting our out of state freshman, found a great option for the next four years!
Pros:

Convenient location, exceptionally clean and nice smelling, lovely staff

Cons:

While convenient generally, it can be a little hard to find the parking lot

HARD PASS.
Pros:

To start the hotel allowed the Fresno State Football team to overstay their checkout by five hours causing dozens of people to have to wait upwards of five hours for their rooms to be ready (8 pm for a 3 pm check in ). While waiting the lobby bathroom was absolutely filthy so there was no clean restroom to use.

Once checked in we discovered the room was still a mess. Additionally the hot tub was out of order. HARD PASS.
