Great location in Mocksville! Lots of restaurants and right next to I40. Nice pool
Washer broke while I did a load of laundry.
No elevator I was put on the second floor and I was 73 years old. Had a hard time going up and down the stairs, but they made no accommodations for me whatsoever.
This was our 3rd time staying here. The bed & pillows were soo comfy. The staff & other guests were so very nice. It's a great location to food, shopping & sightseeing also. Coffee was always available.
The breakfast was not appealing at all. Needs to have danish & yogurt & fruit.so it's really a continental breakfast. The biggest issue is the sheets. We had a queen bed but the mattress pad & fitted sheet was full so it never stayed on.
Bed was comfortable.
TV had limited channels but they are doing renovations.
Everything was perfect. Always a pleasure.
The pool
Everything else
The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Another person came and asked us if we needed help with our luggage.
For the price, the bedroom was smaller than expected. But appeared clean to the eye. When we first entered the room we noticed that there were cigarette holes burned into the curtain. The bed was comfortable for the price but we did not sleep through the night. The smell of menthol smoke kept waking us up. I believe the previous guest smoked in the room and the smell was not taken out during the cleaning process.
The bathroom had several cracked and lose tiles in it. Don’t step on one of those tiles because if it sticks to your foot it will unleash a small of urine that will chase you out of the room, much like it did to us.
Remodeling going on .
Pool is not open.
The room was clean. Could use some upgrades
Three cars in the parking lot filled full of trash. Dumpster flowing on the ground. Dead animal in the lot beside the dumpster. The pool. That's just nasty. Fill it in or clean it up. All the stuff setting in the hall ways.
We never got to stay there. We had reserved over 3 months earlier, then arrived to be told our reservation had been cancelled due to "overbooking." Days Inn could not have possibly "overbooked" when we reserved more than 3 months earlier. I suspect they simply rented the room out for more money than they had agreed to take from us- outrageous!
We were given no advance warning of the cancellation (unhelpfully, we got emails from Booking.com the next day telling us of the "overbooking" cancellation). It was now midnight and we had to start exploring limited options for a place to stay. We had to drive about half an hour to alternative, more expensive accommodation at this late hour.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Absolutely nothing !!!
Disgusting. Roaches EVERYWHERE. Refusing to give us a refund. We left after an hour or two of getting there. We have 3 small children we didn't want to risk it. Staff had a terrible attitude. We seriously felt unsafe as well. We ended up having to drive the rest of the 4 hour home because of how disgusting this place was.
We found bed bugs in my brother in laws room. They were everywhere on everything
