Staff is always very friendly and helpful- love the wine happy hour and cookies too!

They need to revisit the room rates. Not only do you pay the room fee, they will get you with a $55-75 dollar parking fee, and a $35 dollar “Amenity” fee. I would’ve stayed at another hotel if these prices were baked in to the original room cost.

We love this property. We’ve stayed there 4-5 times and it’s become our “go to” place in Laguna Beach. The staff is wonderful. Every room we’ve stayed in is unique and different. The location is great - an easy walk to downtown restaurants, the theater, or the Pageant of the Masters. Also an easy walk to Main Beach or many of the more private cove beaches. Heisler Park and the beautiful coastal walking trail are literally around the corner! You will fall in love with this place, as we have….promise!

We had a partial ocean view. The room was clean. We weren’t able to take advantage of the resort attributes based on our schedule. Parking was covered. Resort fee is $35/day and parking $55/day so figure that into the daily rate. Hotel located a 15 minute walk from restaurants and shopping.

There is an ocean “peak” which should not be billed as an ocean view. There is no direct beach access
As for the room, the floors are not level. The bathtub is not level & there should be grab bars in the tub area. One ply bathroom tissue??!! Horrible! Bathroom sink didn’t drain.
Pool area is clean and lovely. Staff was lovely & helpful.

The hotel is in a very walkable location. The hotel was super cute, cozy and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Would absolutely stay here again!!

A great place to stay in Laguna. Easy walk to beach and downtown Laguna. The rooms were spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable. We would stay here again.

Great beachy vibe. Clean. Don't get a room on the 1st floor. You can hear the people above walking around.

We really enjoyed our stay! Room was cute, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Easy to walk to the beach, stores, art galleries and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a room by the pool. I have come to this hotel many times and will continue to do so as it is close to my parents’ house. That being said, I always have a hard time with tiny bugs swarming all over the bathroom floor and/or the bathroom counter after it has been dark there for a long period of time. Also, there are not nearly enough trash cans in the room. Just one small one out in the large space and the same in the bathroom. Fine for an overnight stay but not for four days!…esp in the bedroom trash can as my family had lunch brought in on a few days! We had to smash the trash down! But again, I WILL be back. 🙃

I must start with how amazing the staff is! Super helpful and knowledgeable! The room was as described and felt very spacious with a separate sitting area. The view of the ocean was lovely! The mattress was on the softer side, but not uncomfortable. The room was clean and air conditioned (it was a hot day so very grateful for this). The underground garage had plenty of parking and had steps leading up to the guest rooms which made luggage transport a breeze. The pool is salt water, not chlorine. The hotel sits between 2 busy roads, but it was quiet overnight and in the morning. It is a half mile walk downhill to the main beach and town, though there are places to eat nearby. The trolley runs in the summer and is free. The complimentary wine and cookie were delicious. This hotel is very accommodating! I arrived 3 hours early and they checked in since my room was ready. They also allowed me to remain parked in the garage after checkout for a few hours so I could stay in town longer. If you need a beach chair or other items, they have items to borrow. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Truly one of the best boutique hotels we've stayed at.
Every hotel should be equipped with their amazingly comfortable king size bed. Room was super clean and every staff member was super kind and professional. Would love to stay there again:)

Great location and of course that’s why the price is so high, but it is showing its age, especially the pool. Overall had a nice stay, however. Very nice to have covered parking

The "partial" ocean view is if you stand on the pool deck and look through an alley that is between two buildings. The "balcony" on the "balcony" rooms is the second floor access to your room door, not an actual balcony. The pool is tiny - only about three feet wide and ten feet long. A "late" check out of 1pm will cost you an additional $80 dollars. Also don't bother to mention your stay is related to a special occasion such as anniversary because unlike other places I've stayed, not only do they not do anything special like leaving a little note in your room, they don't even greet you with a "welcome and happy anniversary, thank you for staying with us" when you check in.
The room was clean and comfortable.
