Great location, room was comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff were lovely, particularly Flo and Owen.

We stayed 2 nights in the Clifton - what a great hotel!
From the start there was a warm welcome on reception. Our room was large with a super comfortable bed, beautiful towels and everything you’d need for a snack or cuppa!
Breakfast and evening meals were brilliant, with helpful and friendly
staff.
The room and open areas were beautifully clean and although the building looks a little tired from the outside it’s a super hotel inside!

We’ll definitely be back! Thank you for a great stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my stay at The Clifton Hotel. Bed was comfy, good shower, fluffy towels, kettle and TV in my room, and friendly receptionists. I'd booked a small single and it had everything I needed. It's worth noting that there was only single glazing in my room, a lot of street noise, and the doors to the other rooms bang loudly when closed. However, I had earplugs and an eye mask and managed fine with those.

Excellent location friendly and welcoming on arrival. Really liked the bar lively and characterful. Very comfy bed too. Would definately stay again.

Honestly great! Super friendly staff, who were helpful and advice made our visit much easier. Clean room and comfy bed . The breakfast was first rate . Loads of choice and served fresh. Excellent value for money .

Location is good, close to Clifton Down station and good choice of shops and restaurants. The atmosphere was good. All the staff I connected with were helpful and friendly. My room was warm and comfortable. I loved having a mini fridge. It was value for money. My room and whole establishment was clean. Generally the hotel was peaceful. It was a noisy on Saturday evening but I knew this would be the case as it was mentioned in information. The service was excellent. All the staff I had contact with were cheerful and helpful.

Great hotel; felt like a home away from home. Very friendly and competent staff. Great breakfast. Excellent area. Looking forward to going back.

I had a great experience in Clifton Hotel. I was warmly greeted by Flo at the reception who kindly explained the checking in process. During, my stay Flo was upbeat and smiling with every customer interaction. It is great to know that such great customer service exists.

Had a wonderfully stay at the Clifton rooms were very comfortable and clean breakfast was good a nice verity on the menu nice and quiet at night flo on reception is a credit to you hotel such a happy and bubbly person nothing was too much trouble for her would definitely recommend you to friends and would stay again w hen in Bristol

Had a lovely stay at your hotel. The staff were all very friendly especially Flo she was working the front desk she helped us many times suggesting transport options and things to do. She's a real asset to your team. The rooms was comfy and the food was lovely. I'd definitely stay at your hotel again and would recommend it to others.

Lovely hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good - worth the money. Decent selection at the bar. Bed very comfortable. Put up with my exasperating German mate very well. Never give 10/10 this was a 9/10. "I'll be back"

We have just returned from another fab stay at the Clifton Hotel Bristol. We love this Hotel for its location, comfort, fab food and breakfasts in Racks restaurant and just lovely helpful staff who can't do enough to help you. Flo in reception was especially lovely this morning helping to book our next stay in March. Thanks so much!

Great staff and excellent food. Unfortunately the building itself is quite tired and in need of major renovation. As an example, there was no water in the bathroom. After reporting it to reception, there was a trickle. The room was clean but the decor and furnishings are end of life. Heating system was an old style central heating that couldn't be controlled so even though the room was a bit chilly there was nothing I could do other than put layers on.

Amazingly helpfull , empathetic Staff! ☺ Very kind welcome of Marek at the reception made my evening.
The morning Staff were also extremely helpful with keeping my baggage for a bit longer after my stay . Even basic single rooms have all you need. Rooms are cozy & all smell fresh👌💕

A most comfortable stay in a perfect location, with friendly and welcoming staff. I had a very affordable, bijou single room, which was surprisingly well equipped and very cute. The bed was larger than expected and very comfortable. I ate in the hotel's restaurant downstairs, and really enjoyed my meal. Also great to have really coffee in my room.

In a quiet corner of the city centre close to all amenities.For a comparatively modest tariff you get:
Very friendly and efficient staff.
Very good breakfast.
Clean and comfortable well appointed bedroom and bathroom.
This is a modified early 19th century building so certain aspects of the building aren’t optimal but we hope to be able to stay here again.
We parked in a nearby multi-storey for a not too exorbitant fee.
