Great location, great staff
Pros:

Very convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful. A special mention to Bryn on reception who was unbelievably helpful. Would definitely stay again when in Bristol.

Cons:

Room was a bit tiny but small but in fairness it is Georgian building and the location and value for money more than made up for it.

Glorious, would happily stay here again
Pros:

Location in the middle of Clifton was perfect - walking distance to excellent cafes and restaurants, as well as the ability to walk down the hill to the Harbourside and explore the waterfront area.
Beds were comfortable, staff were exception - friendly, helpful, kind and knowledgeable

Cons:

Nothing

Lovely hotel. Dismal breakfast.
Pros:

A nice feel to the place. Great to have ground coffee and a cafetiere in the room. Light and airy.

Cons:

The breakfasts were the worse I've ever had. Fruit sald that looked days old. Granola with yoghurt put on at least a day before so it was soft. Baked beans which were lukeawarm. Avocado on toast - which was a scraping of avocado which looked like it was a long time away from an actual avocado. No plain yoghurt on one day - my friend actually went to the local Tesco to buy some - perhaps the staff could have done the same? After a cooked breakfast I needed a croissant to feel full.

The parking is obviously an issue

On the whole it as great hotel and I would stay again but I would not want the basement.
Pros:

The hotel is lovely and has really beautifully decorated great bar and communal areas. We were a group and my friends had a twin on the 2nd floor which was light and had a great view. Other friends has singles on the top floor which they were very happy with. We had a very good breakfast and really nice drinks in the bar and the staff could not have been friendlier.

Cons:

My room was a twin in the basement and front facing so we experienced noise from groups of guests smoking in front of the main entrance. Also the room was a basement room so quite dark. There were a couple of events during our stay that prevented using the bar at certain times. That was a shame.
