Tamcoc Golden Rice

Overall it was decent (bedroom was big/clean, it was in a good area, AC worked, etc) but the bathroom in our room was terrible. When we arrived we noticed that there were tons of flies (dead and alive) in the bathroom. There were even some coming out of the sink overflow drain. When we tried to use the toilet there was urine already in there that wouldn’t really flush, and water leaked out the side piping onto the floor. When I told the staff, they were able to get someone to come fix it around two hours later. However, the toilet still didn’t flush very well even after it was fixed. We think there was a drainage problem in the bathroom because the sink wouldn’t drain the entire time we were there and the shower drain would clog quickly. Also, there was no hot water in our room. We didn't feel comfortable trying to get the staff to fix these issues because they did not seem happy that we had to keep asking them to fix the toilet the first time around.
The woman who worked there was lovely and very friendly. I think it would have been a wonderful stay if not for the bathroom issues as the room itself is nice and clean and the location is good.

We loved our stay at Tam Coc Golden Rice! The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with a fantastic location—just steps away from restaurants, shops, and the Tam Coc boat tour. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great hotel tucked away next to the lake. The room was big, clean and comfortable therefore it met our expectations. Breakfast is good but is a la carte and you only get 3 items from the menu for free. The bathroom is a typical Asian wet floor style but was large and functional.

Staff is always friendly and very helpful.
Location is beyond quiet and very comfortable.
Great price.
Highly recommend this hotel.

レイクビューなら最高なのですが、一軒分だけ内側。奥まった場所だし、前の道は自動車が通れないので静か。ただ、火曜と金曜の夜は湖の対岸にあるバスを改造したバーが大音量で音楽を流すので、流石に少し聞こえます。
テレビは無く、部屋やプールサイドでのんびりするのも良いし、自転車（無料）やバイクを借りて周辺を散策するのも良い。
朝食はメニューから３品まで選択する方式で、トースト＋オムレツ、コーヒー、マンゴージュース　の３品がバランス良かった。なお、３品とは別にフルーツが付きます。

The family who run this hotel were very sweet. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The location and property were beautiful and the AC in our room felt delicious.

Great location and very helpful and friendly staff.

Our experience at [hotel name] was deeply disappointing. Not only were our Norwegian friends denied the simple pleasure of sharing a beer with us in the restaurant, but the staff member even threatened to call the police if they didn’t leave immediately. This heavy-handed approach not only ruined our evening but also left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. A complete disregard for basic hospitality and human decency.

Perfect stay in Tam Coc. Nice, quiet location, great breakfast and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. The lady at the front gave us great recommendations and made our stay very enjoyable.

This is a beautiful little hotel. The staff are so helpful and kind. They make great breakfast - the banana pancakes are delicious!

The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. Can’t beat the location - away from noise but close to everything.

The property is right next to the lake. Restaurants are easily accessible by foot but if you have a large van, you might have to walk the last bit to the hotel.

There's a man and a older lady that will take your breakfast orders and cook it in the morning. Breakfast items include noodle soup, pancakes, or eggs and toast.

The lady that works the front desk is helpful, kind, and 😍.

The owner and her family were absolutely wonderful! They were so helpful when planning tours. The breakfast is delicious! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy!

Excellent rooms and a truly caring family that helped us throughout our stay. Breakfast pancakes were great. Wished we could stay longer!

Before my arrival, I messaged the host, Van Anh, to arrange a pick up from the airport direct to the property. She was prompt in her replies and everything went well. Upon arriving late at night, she was there to receive me and offered me hot tea and snacks. A very thoughtful gesture. The property is well maintained, modern and the bedding is comfortable. Can’t ask for more. This is reflective of the hard work and effort the hosts have put in.

What a great location off the beaten path. Only minutes walk to the small town off Tam Coc. Nice relaxing place to enjoy with a friendly staff. recommend a stay here

Tamcoc Golden rice is in perfect location a short pleasant walk to the Main Street of Tam Coc, but in a quiet area close to the water with a lovely garden area. Vanay is super sweet and helpful in making suggestions of places to see. We rented a scooter from her very cheap,and easily explored many of the popular sites, Trang An and Mua Caves. We also walked to the Bich Dong pagoda which I highly recommend. We took a ride back from a local on a scooter for cheap. The food at the hotel, breakfast in the morning and one dinner we had was very good. Would highly recommend this hotel for a central place to explore the Tam coc, Nim Binh area.

Great little place to stay! Super clean bungalow, the staff was so kind and helpful! Convenient location, easy 5 minute walk into the heart of the little downtown area.
