It was relatively close to the airport and an easy Uber ride to get to. It was also easy to find.
The people on the checkin desk were by some way the least friendly people we met in Chicago. They did not really seem to want to help us even though we tried to be smiley and let them know how we had just landed on a flight from the UK. When we got into our room, which was booked for 2 adults and 2 children, there was only one queen sized bed. No other bedding and no bed. I tried to ring the reception but there was no obvious button to do that. So I went down and when I explained the position I was told that there was a sofa bed that we could make up ourselves. I said that this was fine but we had no bedding and so she said that she would send someone up but did not know how long that would take. I asked if I could pay to upgrade to a different room as I had thought that when we turned up there would at least be made up beds for the 4 of us, but was told that the hotel was full and therefore we had to 'make the best of what we got'. Ok, I thought, so back up to the top floor I went. When housekeeping eventually turned up they only delivered bedding for one person to sleep on the sofa bed so I asked for another set. She said that I should have asked downstairs. I said that I did say I had two children with two adults. She said she did not know how long she would be with more bedding. We then opened out the sofa bed and having spent some time in the military I can say with some confidence that it was about as uncomfortable a bed as I have ever felt. You can feel every spring. So, with reception's words of encouragement ringing in my ears, I telephoned down to make the best of the situation and asked for another duvet to be sent up so that I could put that over the springs and my children might then be able to sleep. The duvet did turn up about 30 minutes later but the lady delivering now was even more cross than when she turned up for the second time. We thanked her for the duvet and put it on the sofa bed which by now made it is solid 2/10 in...
Hotellista oli helppo vierailla Chicagon keskustan kohteissa. Huone oli kalustuksen osalta perinteinen, mutta kaikin puolin siisti ja tilava. Kaksi erillistä huonetta toimii hyvin jet lagin tasoittamiseen. Harmi, että vuodesohva oli täysin kelvoton nukkumiseen. En voi suositella huonetta kuin kahdelle hengelle. Aamiainen oli ok.
Vuodesohva oli luokattoman huono ja nukkumiskelvoton. 99% teräsjousia, ei lainkaan pehmusteita. Todella harmi, sillä muuten tilava huoneisto sopisi loistavasti 3 henkilölle.

The Breakfast was by far the best part of the stay
the rooms A/C seemed to be inoperable, with the unit set to the lowest possible temperature and Fan ON, we all inevitably sweat in our sleep and had to dispell of the blankets.
The pool made it worth it.
Outdated, room felt very old and musty. Expensive for what it was.
Convenience to the location of the CTA
The fridge leaked water and made a loud noise all night and I couldn’t sleep. The air conditioning was very loud. The room did not appear well cleaned. There was hair all over and in the ice bucket. The pull out bed was so flat all you felt were springs

Our family of 4 (kids aged 18 and 11) stayed at the Embassy Suites for a night after arriving from the UK and before heading back out again for a flight to Bozeman the next day.
Location of the hotel is good, only about 10 minutes from the airport and we used the free shuttle both ways which worked well (goes every 30 minutes). Hotel is a short walk away from Rosemont area which had some restaurants and a short drive away from an outlet mall (did not really seem walkable as you would need to cross a busy road).
Value was excellent - less than $200 and that included hot breakfast with personalised omelette chef plus a happy hour in the evening with snacks and drinks (alcohol available for adults).
Only 3 stars because of decor / cleanliness - the hotel feels like it is stuck in a 60's/70's timewarp and could definitely do with a revamp - luckily we were exhausted which meant we did not overthink the hygiene of the beds. In theory there was a sofa bed which would have allowed the kids their own bed but no-one in their right mind would sleep on that given the noticeable stains and it was also in a separate living room which faced out into a courtyard area which was noisy and very light.
Overall if you are looking for extreme value this is a good option but I think there are likely better options available which are a bit nicer!
Stay here was pleasant and peaceful. The location was close to an outlet mall, theater, bowling, and multiple restaurants.
