Be aware that they are selling real queen bed rooms but they don’t exist.

False advertisement, bad customer service. They do NOT have two queen bed rooms. They are doubles. They gaslit me that I was wrong but I measured the beds. They refused to put me in what I booked or fix the situation. Gave me two broken remotes so I couldn’t use our tv. Smelly hotel as well. Would not come back. My husband is 6 foot 8 and couldn’t sleep all night because how small the beds were.

Overall very pleased, but above items need to be addressed
Pros:

Got a free upgrade a suite while checking in. Front desk staff very friendly and professional. The Diner that is connected to the hotel (Roundabout Diner) is excellent. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast there.

Cons:

1. There is no mirror in the elevator so you cannot tell if someone else might be in the elevator- safety concern. 2. The faucet in the bathroom sink sits too close to the back wall of the sink, making it very difficult to get your hands completely under the water stream to wash and rinse them off. The faucet should have been placed closer to the back wall of the sink so the faucet stem extended further into the sink bowl OR a faucet with a longer stem should have been installed. Either way the water stream needs to extend further away from the back wall so you can properly wash/rinse your hands without having them pressed up against the back wall of the sink. VERY frustrating! Room 697. 3. While watching TV the signal kept dropping out. Another frustrating experience.

Enjoyable, close to many activities and places
Pros:

24/7 coffee, staff was very friendly, clean, shower, large fridge that was actually cold, an information book with good and useful information

Cons:

Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom that looked moldy, no vending machines

A highly recommended place to stay in Portsmouth.
Pros:

Very close to local attractions, very clean, easy check-in and check-out. The attached diner was very convenient.

Cons:

The first room we were given was in a wing that smelled so badly like mildew it gave me a headache. There was also a stain on the mattress that looked to be feces or blood. Once we were moved to a second room, that room was 100 times worse with massive large brown stains all over the mattress. It was disgustingly dirty. The entire hotel dies not meet with Best Western standard.

The property is very dated and is in desperate need of updating.
Pros:

The location was very easy to find and the free parking was ideal.

Cons:

It was very dated. The rooms don’t have closets only cabinets so a full length dress could not be hung. The rooms were very dark even with all of the lamps on ( no overhead lights). The bathroom was too small for 2 people to get ready in. The tub did not drain properly.
