Pros:

Posizione ottima per muoversi nella zona centrale di kunming. Staff gentilissimo e disponibile nell'aiutarti a organizzare i transfer. Stanze pulite e fornite di tutti gli accessori utili al sogguiorno.

Fantastic hotel staff, very greatful guests!
Pros:

We had the most fantastic stay at Moon and Chalice. The manager Linlin was truly helpful in every way, she went far out of her way to help us with locating a lost bag. The hotel room was lovely and clean, very well maintained.

Central location!
Pros:

Central location, helpful staff when we arrived at 5am! Good for a 1-2 nights stay.

Cons:

Had to wheel luggage to the main street once the walking street was open in the daytime

Lovely Place for lovely people and lovers
Pros:

The Moon and Chalice Hotel ia great place to stay. It is in the middle of the old town and it is a charming hotel. An ideal place for a honeymoon, a romantic place for a single and for a couple. There is no breakfast but just 50 meters to the right and to the left you can buy an excellent Yunman Small Coffee bean espresso or latte and a good Chinese breakfast. I highly recommend the hotel.

Cons:

The manager speaks fluently English, the staff not. You need to use an translation application to make yourself understood with the staff.

Pros:

La bâtiment en lui même est un monument avec ces airs de proue de bateau. Il est très bien placé, dans le quartier le plus intéressant touristiquement de Kunming et à 5 mn d'une station de métro. Seul bémol : il ne sert pas de petit-déjeuner ! Si on ne veut pas déjeuner de nouilles, il y a tout proche un "salon" de thé... qu'on a découvert un peu trop tardivement.

Pros:

L'hotel è in un palazzo storico inizio '900, con una struttura particolare, è all'interno della zona pedonale ma l'autista della macchina a noleggioggio non ha avuto problemi a trovarci. Vicini anche i taxi, zona centralissima, hotel dotato di tutti i confort. Ottima accoglienza e servizio reception.

Pros:

Un bel hôtel avec un emplacement agréable et très pratique. Le métro est proche et sinon vous pouvez profiter de la zone piétonne où se trouve l'hôtel. Une belle chambre avec un lit parfait!

Cons:

La fenêtre n'était pas bien isolée et laissait passer les bruits de la rue, ce qui n'était pas si grave puisqu'il s'agit d'une zone piétonne et calme en soirée.

Pros:

Localisation de cet hôtel parfaite mais la rénovation est ratée et mériterait d’être refaite. Au plafond de la chambre, des problèmes de fuite d’eau. Pas de petits déjeuners mais ce n’est pas grave car beaucoup de restaurants dans le quartier. De plus , le personnel est très gentil.

Cons:

La décoration est horrible . Quel dommage .

Fantastic location, lovely room and staff were great. Arranged pick up and drop off from the train station which made life so easy.

A decent 3.5 star hotel, not 5-diamond as Booking.com shows
Pros:

Location is great, right in a lively area, helpful staff, customer service is excellent. Hot tea every evening.

Cons:

The bed was very uncomfortable. The staff helped and flipped the mattress to the firmer side, which helped. The shower control is not precise, adjusting water temperature is difficult and requires constant finicking with the lever. There are not enough hooks for towels. No AC in the room.
