Excellent stay for a birthday celebration
Pros:

Excellent communication before and during the stay - going as far to offer upgrades and additional extras for my husband's 50th. All very friendly with my two children. Fantastic location and period luxury. The staff serving breakfast were all absolutely wonderful.

Cons:

Took twenty minutes to be served at the bar and then they added a service charge on an order for two drinks, despite being sat directly at the bar and them forgetting our order.

Very nice friendly cozy hotel. The experience spoiled by an unexpected service charge.
Pros:

A nice cosy hotel centrally located. Beds were very comfortable.

Cons:

I didn’t like the surprise addition of a service charge which i had to pay on checking out on top of the room charge I had already paid.

Charmant hôtel avec un personnel très aimable. Un excellent petit-déjeuner et un bar très agréable. Nous y avons très bien dîné.

Cons:

La chambre. Trop petite, trop sombre et très triste avec une décoration démodée ( lit avec baldaquin). Il fallait un petit marche-pied pour monter dans le lit.
