Easy to get to. Bed was comfortable
The AC was wonky. I prefer a fan running at night while maintaining a certain temp. It couldn't do that. I also didn't like that there was no ice container and don't even know if ice is available to hotel guests.
Recliner in our room (#118) needs to be replaced.
Price & location are great.
I didn’t like being placed right by an exit. The door never stopped being slammed
Decent continental breakfast- Hot eggs and sausage is always a plus-
I had paid in advance for a three night stay. I was automatically checked out on the second day while I was out of town. When I returned to my room on the third day, they had locked me out of my room and didn’t refund the two final days of the reservation. They insisted that I had checked out and refused to refund my money or set me up with another option. Apparently, they “understood my frustration”…
Fargo inn & suites had a very nice gal at the office. As soon as you walk in the office it had a slight odor. Then I went to my room. The hallway and the room had a horrible mold and urine smell. The room looked clean but the odor was my deciding factor to leave even though I was unable to be refunded. It made my eyes and nose burn . It made me sick to my stomach. I will never try to stay again. I stayed at another motel.
I don't expect a 5 star experience when booking affordable accommodations- but a few of the first floor rooms need some serious TLC. Originally checked in to Room 119. Immediately upon opening the door it smelled and felt damp/musty with a very apparent sewage smell. I am not very fussy so I just opened the window to try to air it out a bit. I filled the sink with hot water to wash up. When I was finished and let the drain out, all of the water drained out onto the (carpeted) floor. The drain pipe was not connected to the sink - this explained both the damp and sewer smell.. dry P-trap would be my guess. I went to the front desk and was initially told "I am so sorry - we are completely booked. I pushed gently and explained that this was a serious maintenance issue and the desk person clicked around a bit before saying we could have a room just down the hallway. (I believe it was room 127). We moved our belongings down into the new room. This room still smelled damp and musty but lacked the sewage smell of 119 so we just stayed.
To be very clear - all of the staff we encountered were absolutely kind and professional, both the night we checked in and the morning we checked out. The main hallways and lobby area were VERY clean and well kept. The breakfast area was also clean and well stocked. There are just some plumbing/moisture issues in the first floor guest rooms that need to be addressed.
Need to do a better cleaning in the shower
Good and clean rooms. Breakfast was good, plenty of options as well!
Room was clean and comfy.
The maid walked in at a not so good time. We were busy, getting busy!
Good hotel.
None
We were very disappointed with the Fargo Inn and Suites because our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and old sweat. The bathroom facilities were not clean. There was old product from the soap and shampoo dispenser caked on the bath tub and dirt residue on the unclean bath tub. Our room was located by entry door E which the door closer mechanism did not allow the door to do a soft close. We would be rudely awakened every time this entry door would slam during the night.
One bright side, the desk clerks were very friendly and polite. We had a reservation for 4 days which we cancelled. We stayed there one night because we couldn’t afford losing one night cost.
Some family members were going to stay but called in to cancel their reservation. The hotel would not refund one of their nights stay after they found out about of issues we had. Their web page has deceptive reviews. So be advised of this place.
great location rooms are very clean as well as the bathroom. The beds were comfortable the air conditioner kept the room, nice and cool and was not noisy. I will stay here again. Also a great price
Breakfast was ok. Location excellent.
Was stated microwave in room our room did not have one, very disappointed with that.
