Unable to check in on time due to hotel staffing issues, and did not receive room that I booked online and had to be dow

The pool the breakfast

Cons:

Wasn’t able to check in on time due to the hotel having issues with the cleaning staff and room options. I booked an ocean view suite and upon arrival was told my room had been given away to someone that booked a longer stay. Very disappointing to not receive the room I booked, apparently this is a common theme at this location if you check their Google reviews. Also the photos do not match at all with reality.

Me encantó este lugar, pasamos un fin de semana espectacular, la playa hermosa puedes ir caminando, el personal y las habitaciones excelentes, la piscina no es muy grande pero estaba genial, restaurantes cerca, hace tiempo no pasaba un fin de semana de calidad como ese☺️

A clean, relaxing place that was nice to return to at the end of the day.
Pros:

Room was more spacious than I expected, and I loved having a balcony - though the sound of the air conditioning units was a bit loud when I was out there. Staff were all really nice and helpful. Continental breakfast was great, and there was a decent variety of cold and hot options.

Cons:

When it is running, the air conditioner for the next room is very loud when you are sitting on the balcony. Since this is Florida, the air is running almost all the time.

Beware the so-called ocean view
Pros:

Booked a one bedroom suite with an ocean view. Received a one bedroom suite with a view of the parking lot. Asked at the front desk, who told me they consider the bedroom window to provide a partial ocean view. It is not. I have attached a photo of the so-called “partial ocean view” from the bedroom window. I would have been disappointed to learn that they could not honor my reservation for an ocean view; instead, the hotel chose to treat me like a fool and insist that I have an ocean view. I cannot recommend that anyone stay in a hotel that gaslights its guests.

Pros:

I like everything about this place.We come up 3-4 a year to get away. It is only two hours from home and a different world. Most people speak English and are very friendly. It's located to many things we like to do.

Cons:

The room we got, but not their fault. We booked through Booking.com and even paid extra for a balcony room which to me means floor two or higher. When we checked in the hotel said all their rooms have a balcony. To make a long story short we got a room facing the pool which you could not see due to the privacy hedges. Next time I will go through the Holiday Inn Express number and hope to get a better employee.

We enjoyed it but there are a few things I would change.
Pros:

I liked the breakfast and the pool.

Cons:

They didn’t have towels out for the pool all the time. I asked the front desk about a missing bday card for my granddaughter and they weren’t helpful. I asked the one lady and she never got back to me. There were giftcards in there and now they are gone.

Wonderfully relaxing!!
Pros:

The location was great. The small balcony looking out to the sea was amazing. The room was great!

Cons:

I understand it’s pet friendly, but the pull out did have A LOT of fur on it. We did find some kibble on the floor too.
