The staff gave out a room key to someone posing as my wife and they were trying to enter my room. Was not acceptable at all they should always check identification before giving out keys or ring the guests room first. Very pissed about hotel staffs actions.

Cleaning what it supposed to be

They had bugs coming out of the sink . The blow dryer was broke. W one prong , the iron didn’t work and then they never changed the trash , never came to clean . The door got jammed form the outside coming in . It was a mess ! I would never recommend this to no one !

The hotel was fairly clean. The bedding comforter was stained. Rehab items not done well, not quality standards. Just halfway….
I would stay again. Didn’t charge 75 dollars for a well behaved dog. Best plus about the place.

Great place! I Love the staff here. Place is very clean and located by a ton of wonderful restraunts. I definitely plan on staying here again.

Didn't like the room

There was hair from the last occupant in the bath tub - not cleaned. There were crackers and an empty water bottle on the carpet - not vacumed. It appears as if they changed the bed and bath linens only.

Worst stay ever, breakfast is a joke- juice machine broken, coffee was cold, no creamer, had 2 slices of bread for toast, fruit cups had knife cuts in them, waffles with no syrup, cereal looked old but didn’t matter because there was no milk.
Had to beg for towels and wash cloths. I’m sorry I take 2 showers a day. And they didn’t want to give us towels/washcloths after me giving them the dirty ones.
There was poor customer service at the counter. He had attitude any time you asked for something.
First night of our stay we had to get 2 queen beds instead of the king bed suite that we reserved over 2 weeks prior.

I had no problems during my stay. Staff were friendly and it was a great price!

The continental breakfast was just awful. No working juice machines or hot coffee.
The bathroom floors in our room were filthy. Not a very good experience at all

Felt safe with my autistic son

I wanted a bagel and was so hard it wouldn’t open on the split was soooo hard the toast also‼️.. i didn’t even bother to check for the muffins I think guest only consumed cereal and waffles‼️.. but my room itself was immaculately cleaned I normally reclean i got no dirty not even from the remote thanks that I do appreciate from the outside I couldn’t tell it was so clean pulling into motel‼️💯💯💯

Honestly I made this reservation by mistake. I needed to stay downtown for a job, and usually I can get a decent hotel for under $100 right downtown or over the bridge no problem. Today all the prices were double - I thought I was booking the downtown Econolodge but I mistakenly booked this one. The reviews made me worry!! But when I got here, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the building is old. But, the man who checked me in was very nice and it was a very easy process. I could tell he knew what he was doing. And the lobby, while sparse and kinda clinical, was clean. The hallways were also very clean and smelled good. When I got to the room I was a little bit shocked. It’s totally acceptable! Actually, it’s a pretty nice room! The furniture is modern, it has a fridge and microwave both look new. The tile is old school but it’s kind of charming. The ac heat unit has got to be 86 years old but it works and it’s kind of charming too. Best part - the couch in the room is hella comfortable, there’s lots of pillows, iron, blow dryer, plenty of fluffy towels. Desk has power outlets and usb built in, as well as the night stands on both sides, AS WELL AS every lamp. I honestly have no idea why this place has a 31% thumbs up on Google and a 2.5 rating here. Yes - it’s old. Yes the paint color in the bathroom is questionable. Yes the bathroom door looks like someone punched it once and they did a so-so patch job. So what? It’s an inexpensive motel and that kind of thing should be expected… I saw no bugs. The place smelled nice. And the staff was not only nice but also seemed very competent. I felt I had to write a review - if they were bad before, I’m here to tell ya they are trying and it shows. For an Econolodge, this place is an A+ with honors. If you are reading this and you want a motel in the area, I’d say give it a try because I felt very welcome and safe. Haven’t had breakfast yet but we will see! So far so good.

They are in the middle of a remodel but our stay was still enjoyable and we were not interrupted by any noise. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was polite.
