The Argyle Luxury Boutique

We had a wonderful 2 night stay that was smooth from start to finish. Staff were friendly and efficient truly standing out compared to other hotels we have stayed.
A huge thank you to the management for surprising us with an upgrade from our Junior suite to their executive suite with half board. We appreciate this kind gesture.
Room was spotless, modern and had the most amazing panoramic views of the mountains.
Food was top notch.
Special kudos to the Front office Manager Janarthan, Assistant F & B Manager Imran Abbas, Sri Kanth in the restaurent and the staff member who guided us to the room ( sorry forgot his name)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wish we stayed here for few more days. Will certainly come back.

Todo ha sido perfecto, personal, instalaciones, habitación, comida... A destacar el buen servicio y atención del personal, mención especial para Vitu, que nos ha hecho sentir como en casa.

Ein echtes 5-Sterne-Erlebnis – und das hat man während des gesamten Aufenthalts gemerkt. Wir hatten uns kurz zuvor verlobt und wurden vom Hotel unglaublich herzlich und liebevoll willkommen geheißen. Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich zuvorkommend, professionell und freundlich. Man merkt einfach die Erfahrung und dass hier der Gast wirklich im Mittelpunkt steht.

Auch kulinarisch war der Aufenthalt ein Highlight. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren hervorragend. Unbedingt das Paratha probieren – für uns war es das beste, das wir während unserer gesamten Sri-Lanka-Reise gegessen haben!

Auch der Wellnessbereich hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sowohl die Massage als auch das Facial waren hervorragend. Besonders in Erinnerung bleiben uns aber die vielen kleinen Gesten: Auf unseren Wunsch wurden extra Kokosnüsse aus dem Nachbarort für uns organisiert, worüber wir uns unglaublich gefreut haben. Für unsere sechsstündige Fahrt zum Flughafen wurden uns zum Abschied sogar Take-away-Pakete vorbereitet.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Vithu, der sich während unseres Aufenthalts wirklich großartig um uns gekümmert hat. Genau solche Menschen und Aufmerksamkeiten haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht.

Very homely, excellent staff, family friendly. Very neat and clean place with temperature controlled pool, games for families to play like monopoly, carrom, pool etc with no additional charges. Excellent value for money.

Fantastic location looking out over tea plantations. All the comforts of a luxury hotel, but on a small, friendly scale. Great buffet spreads and very attentive staff. Thankyou to Nadan, Arusha, Ravindu, Tanya and Budha for making our stay so memorable - despite the weather!

The Staff was amazing. They were all very friendly and generous.
Shiva is a genius with the Phone Camera. While you are there , do take the opportunity to have him click some pictures around the property. Trust me you will not be disappointed

Impeccable service and friendliness

The property was lovely and the staff was exceptional. I have never seen such caring and considerate who went out of their way to accommodate every request. Vidu, Jana and Srikanth made us feel at home and cared for every need - anticipating our requirements even before we could ask. We will definitely return

Vanaf het moment dat je binnen komt voel je je welkom! Ontzettende fijne ontvangst door een dame die perfect engels spreekt. Heerlijk kopje kaneelthee als welkomstdrankje met een stukje snoep erbij.

Dan de kamer: prachtig! Schoon, ruim en netjes. Adapters zijn te verkrijgen bij de receptie. Op de kamer lagen heerlijke koekjes klaar.
Uitzicht vanuit de kamer is magnifiek, Op het zwembad en de bergen.

Het hotel is echt een boutique hotel, weinig kamers dit voelt meteen luxe.
Het heeft een gezellige bar waar je kunt poolen.
We hebben in de avond in het hotel gegeten. Je kunt a la carte eten maar ook buffet. Wij hebben a la carte gegeten en daar hadden we geen spijt van. Heerlijk!
Het ontbijtbuffet was het beste buffet wat wij tot nu toe gehad hebben. Veel keuze, vers. Je kunt je ei laten bakken hoe je wilt maar ook verse egg hoppers laten maken. Er waren diverse warme en koude gerechten en gebak.

Bij het uitchecken nog een presentje gekregen.
Dit was by far het beste hotel in Sri Lanka. Het personeel weet wat hospitality is en vreselijk lief is.

Ps. Ook de wifi is overal goed!

The Argyle Luxury Boutique Hotel was one of the best hotels of our trip to Sri Lanka.

The staff were exceptional, (especially Mr.Vithu) —warm, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived

The hotel itself is beautiful, surrounded by lush tea estates with breathtaking views. The peaceful setting, fresh mountain air, and tranquil atmosphere make it the perfect escape from the busy tourist areas. If you're looking to relax and experience the beauty of Sri Lanka's hill country, this is the place to stay.

The property is well maintained, the rooms are clean comfortable, and waking up to panoramic views of the tea plantations is an unforgettable experience.

If you prefer a calm, peaceful retreat rather than the hustle and bustle of tourist hotspots, I highly recommend Argyle Hotel. It offers the perfect combination of outstanding hospitality, stunning scenery, and complete relaxation.

I travel quite often and have stayed at many hotels, but I’ve never experienced such a consistently high standard of hospitality across an entire hotel. It was truly exceptional. 👏

It’s incredibly rare to find a place where the same level of kindness, warmth, professionalism, and genuine care is reflected across every department. Whether it was the reception team, concierge, housekeeping, the spa, the restaurant, the café, or the luggage attendants, every interaction reflected that same exceptional standard of hospitality. That level of consistency is a reflection of outstanding leadership and a culture that clearly puts guests first.

The location is also excellent, with incredible views.

The breakfast was authentic. The options were aplenty and the food was extremely delicious, homely and served with lot of warmth and courteousness. The property is as beautiful as shown in the pictures on the site.

Argyle is truly such a stunning location and the staff were so kind and warm. Truly such a fabulous and rewarding experience to be able to show my parents. The staff even gave us to go lunches which truly shows how deeply they thought about their services and hospitality. Definitely a must visit again!
