Wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly and helpful -- Daniel V. and everyone we encountered. We had prompt help with luggage at arrival, storage and departure, and getting a taxi to the airport, and in response to general questions.

The building has a stylish simplicity. The lobby has a few comfortable seats and nice large windows with a stylish but relaxed restaurant. The rooftop bar was a fun scene and the views were terrific.

We had a room facing the front -- I'm glad we did as the view was pretty and there is lovely green space just across from the hotel. This adds to the quiet charm of the hotel, which is otherwise right in the middle of everything, Barrio de las Letras is a charming and buzzy area. The hotel's location is fantastic - walkable to everywhere in central Madrid.

The Superior Room was not large, but was cozy enough and not overly small. The bed and setup were comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with nice products. Everything was kept very clean.

Overall, highly recommended.

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Concierges. Good room. Clean and well equipped. Good in-room coffee/tea and fresh bottled water each day. Amazing roof bar/ terrace for sundowners!!
Downside - rooms poorly lit
Bad experience in Restaurant on arrival with belligerent Maitre D and poor food. Pork was dry and overcooked

The location is superb, within easy walking distance of nearly all sights. The room was a good size with comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. The staff are extremely friendly and professional, but also so welcoming and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here!

The location was fantastic, just outside thencity centre and very close to the Retiro Park. Being on a side street from the main road, there was minimal outside noise ensuring a quiet nights sleep. The real 5 star experience is the friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism of all the staff at the hotel. We felt welcomed and extremely valued as guests by each member ot staff we had the pleasure of meeting. The room was a good size with a comfortable and big bed (one of the reasons i try to book an NH Collection Hotel whenever possible), plenty of pillows and spotlessly clean throughout. The room had all the necessary additions we required (hairdryer, dental kits, corkscrew, bottle opener). Each day we were given a large complimentary bottle of water and chocolates by Miury. The breakfast was good with an excellent choice of juices and smoothies, and lots of cold meats and cheeses. Room service was also very, very good.

Perfect in every way. Staff was so kind and helpful. The room was great. Delicious breakfast. Great location.

Really disappointed in this hotel, definitely not a 5*!
On arrival, they took a deposit from me and explained that I would get this back once checked out. I checked out 4 days ago, and still haven’t had my deposit refunded (£131). I have since emailed them but have been ignored. The floor in the hotel room was loose and clearly hadn’t been measured properly as the tiles didn’t fit. An awful smell consumed the hotel! Unsure what the horrible smell was but it was there daily and really put me off!! I can’t comment on the food as I didn’t eat there but the restaurant was always quite busy. The rooftop terrace looks nothing like it does on their hotel images. It was like a building site over there! Would give this hotel a 3* at the very best.

De locatie

Emplacement parfait, très central et proche des grands musées. Super ambiance le soir sur le rooftop (ce qui est finalement assez rare pour un hôtel), design année 60 type nordique. Accueil chaleureux, café dans la chambre.
