Always a pleasure.
Pros:

Very convenient and friendly staff.

Cons:

A tiny bit of snow overnight caused a snowplow to start work at 5 in the morning keeping everyone in room awake. Went on for an hour outside room 715. Don’t know why it went on so long with just a tiny amount of snow.

Pros:

We didn't like our stay.

Cons:

I can't comment on the Residence Inn as our room was given to someone else and we were moved to a different inferior hotel that was loud and not pleasant. I will not use this hotel or Booking.com again.

Appreciated upgrade when our choice wasn't available.
Pros:

Breakfast was adequate. Liked the varied menu and the wide range of selection. Food itself (for example, omlets were so-so) edible but nothing to rave about. Thanks for having some gluten free options.

Cons:

The food was so-so - edible but not great. The coffee was tepid every day.

Buyer Beware
Pros:

Buyer Beware - there is a reason this business has an F rating by the Better Business Bureau. The hotel charged our credit card over $900 at checkout alleging we took the blankets from the beds (of course, we did not). Although they claimed that housekeeping "triple checked" for the missing blankets, the charge posted BEFORE housekeeping came to the room. Despite multiple attempts, the General Manager - Tanya - never returned our phone calls. The front desk worker was kind and professional, but obviously aware that this property frequently scams patrons. He was quick to tell us to report the charge as fraud to our credit card company. If you read the BBB reviews, you will see that multiple people have complained that this property mischarges or double charges guests.

Separate from the fraudulent management, it's a mid-level Residence Inn. The rooms were clean if not updated. The linens were subpar - I doubt there are $900 blankets on the beds given the quality of the three towels our suite had for four people. The property is tidy but not clean (unemptied trash cans everywhere). It was quiet and the location was good. If they can get new, ethical management, this place could be worth the return trip. Instead, stay somewhere trustworthy and save yourself the trouble of cancelling your credit card.

Totally outdated hotel, terrible room service. Not worth staying here. Go somewhere else in Santa Fe.
Pros:

Last time we stayed they claimed the rooms would be renovated. Didn't happen. TV only had six working channels. No soap.

Perfect for Hospital-Adjacent Stay
Pros:

This wouldn't be my first choice as a vacation stay. It's right next to Christus Saint Vincent Hospital complex, perfect for me due to a two-day medical diagnostic test. I had a restrictive diet till the work was complete, so the full kitchen was perfect. Entry at street level since I was hauling a cooler was helpful, too. Room opens directly outside, you can see parked car right out the window. Without my diet parameters, there's not a lot of reason for the full kitchen. So many great restaurants in Santa Fe!

A lady happened by, saying they were preparing for renovations. For that, I would suggest that if they replace bedside lamps, it would be handy to get the kind with a plug for charging on lamp base. I wished I'd thought to bring a power strip extension cord. The room had small signs of shabbiness - a chip on the tile room number outside the door, small corner of bathroom wallpaper unpeeling., Some of the lightbulbs were LED, others old coil flourescents which take awhile to warm up to full brightness. There are frugality practices such as only one bar of soap for both kitchen & bath, and hospitality service only every other day. None of that dissuades me, but I mention it because it might matter to others.

Another suggestion is to put instructions for recycling, instead of just the bin under the sink. Everyplace has its own recycling procedures, hard to guess right without instructions. I imagine many guests are, like me, hospital-related visits from the surrounding region, and wouldn't be familiar with Santa Fe protocols.

This hotel is perfect for hospital-adjacent stays. Couldn't be better! Tip: If you sign up through Marriott website, and let them add you to BonVoy frequent sleeper program, there might be a WiFi waiver. Not sure if there's a fee if you don't.

I had no occasion to use the restaurant. But It looked more upscale than the typical Holiday Inn Express and similar modern roadside brands. Breakfast only.

For hospital related stays, should I need another, I'll be back. Perfect for that. Nice staff at the desk, too.

Nice place
Pros:

Had the best breakfast (by far) of any Marriott we have stayed at - and we have stayed at a lot of them. We had a first floor room and could hear every footstep of the people above us. Bed was comfortable.

Pros:

Nice full kitchen facilities. Easy to get to Plaza.

Cons:

They allow pets, but don't clean carpets after pets stay. Room reeked of dog urine. They did come try to clean when asked, but they don't use cleaners to break down urine enzymes, so they really only mask the smell.

DON'T STAY HERE
Pros:

Worst hotel experience ever. UNSAFE. Door flung open at 3AM, door frame was broken. Tried to leave was told I would be charged for full week reservation. Ants in kitchen. Broken shower head flooded floor. Bugs in bathtub. Patio doors had wood rot, doors were no secure wind blew them open. Mgr avoided me.

Good experience
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. There was plenty of space in the breakfast room and lots of good selections. The room was very clean and we liked being able to pick up food from Trader Joe's and prepare it in our room. They replaced the mattresses during our stay and that was desperately needed. The towels are super tiny, they need to be replaced. We are from the East Coast and I was surprised that the last two Marriotts we stayed in did not have smart TVs. We have come to expect that. But otherwise it was great.
